The Brewers ended their 2009 season at 80 wins and 82 loses. At the start of the season the Brewers were to run for the ML Central division championship and make it to the playoffs! It didn't happen and wonder what the Brewera will do in the off season. We need better pitching! Especially in the starting pitching! I hope Braden Looper comes back! He was one of the bright spots in the pitching! In relief pitching I hope the Brewers keep Trevor Hoffman! He wants to be a Brewer next year! Then there is shortstop, second and third base to work on! It will be interesting to see what happens! It will be an interesting off season for the Brew Crew!

finishing at 80 and 82 certainly is disappointing given the hopes at the beginning of the season, but they finished strong and did a good job just getting to 80 wins.
I agree that starting pitching is their biggest need during the off-season. Plus, Kendall and Cameron are both free agents.
I too hope they re-sign looper, but after such a good year he may turn down the option and seek a multi-year deal.
Escobar is ready to play shortstop every day, so JJ Hardy will most likely be traded, hopefully for a starting pitcher.
I would like to see them re-sign Lopez, which would give them the option of using Weeks in a trading situation.
No matter what they do, I'm already excited for and waiting for next year.

Thanks for the response! It will be an interesting off season for the Brew crew! I hope Looper wii be a Brewer next season if the price is right! I hate when money talks! Especially in sports! I didn't realize Kendall and Cameron were free agents! I don't think Cameron will be back. Kendall I hope comes back! with the rest of the Brewers problems I hope some good moves are made! We will see!
