After you graduate from school and begin your career, how many of your friends do you really keep in touch with. Are most of your friends really just coworkers?

my high school life ended like 20 years ago, but I still have contact with my high school buddies. even my college friends are still just around the corner. maybe some had gone to places and abroad, we still got in contact with each other very often. Groups in yahoo, twitter, and facebook are our means of communications. My buddies here at works also becomes my friends but still theres no friends like what you have during high school.

I think friendship is one thing and to get along with a coworkers is another. Sometimes a coworker can become your friend.
I have friends from all ages and they have come from different moments of my life. Then there are friends that you have for some time and then they disappear from your life.
My eldest friend has been my friend since I was 10 or 11. As I am 64, it´s been a long time. She has lived abroad most of that time but we have always kept in touch.
I have close friends that are 20 years older than I and others that are younger than my daughters.
For me the term "friend" is a very important one. I don´t call friend any person I like. My frieds become my adopted family.
Take care

It is quite sad that after I graduated from college most of my friends work abroad, though I still have communication with them still it seems not enough. The last time we had a get-together or reunion was three years ago and it has been a long time. I really do hope we'll meet again and share more fun stories. I also have friends from work and friends from my previous job. Keeping in touch with some of them is a bit hard because we get busy most of the time but hopefully I'll have time to visit some of them. Happy mylotting!:)
