I read from the article that said 7-8 hours sleeping is ideal for an adult. I usually can't sleep that long, how about you?

Being a to be software engineer i really find very less time for sleep. In a week it averages 7 to 8 hours including sundays and mondays in which i get 10-12 hours of sleep.Although i seldom study, but college labs , movies and late night parties with friends cutoff the sleeping time from my daily routine....

I seem to have some biological clock or something. It doesn't matter what time I go to bed I'm always up by 6. I think it's because my body is use to getting up for work. Now, that we're retired I don't have to do that anymore, but I still do.

i try to sleep 6 to 8 hours every night. but sometimes i sleep less and sometimes i sleep more. i need to stop drinking caffeinated drinks late at night. that usually messes up my sleeping. usually if i sleep late, i will wake up late. and since i am an independent, trying to start my career on the internet, it doesnt really matter, but it helps if i wake up early to get more work done. i do less work when i wake up late. sleeping better makes me more productive.

I sleep about 7 to 8 hours a day. Your body needs that kind of rest. And your body needs to relax after a hard days work rather you are out of the house working or cleaning the house. Every body needs the kind of perfect rest so they can have better energy for the next day.

it depends on the day and time , on Sundays i get more time to sleep than on working days. my average sleep would be 5 -6 hours a day . that's it and for me that's quiet enough.

I usually get around 8 hours of sleep every night now that I no longer work for someone else. We open our shop at 10:00 but many times my husband goes in early while it's quiet. I rarely, if ever go in early.

Well i have never thought of this before. But i usually go to bed around 12 midnight and get up at 7 am to take kids to school. I will stay up for awhile then i go back to bed and sleep usually till about 1 pm. But that's because i have nothing really to do in the day time.

Yes, I sleep 8 hours a day or so. 10 pm to morning 6:00. This is what I develop a pattern. As long as no special thing. I are 10 pm to sleep. After the study, this is the best sleep. And I sleep very high quality, I am the spirit of a very good day.

I seldom get a 7-8 hours a day as I love watching TV and surfing the net after work. My average sleeping time is aroung 11pm-12 midnight. That is the reason why I hate to wake up early. I guess I am just a night person and my energy was up only from middle of the day up to midnight.

As a Graduate Student who has to not only read approximately 200 pages (or more) a week, as well as grade student papers, I usually average 6-7 hours a night, though I sometimes shoot for eight (depending on how busy I am.) On weekends, though, I feel justified in sleeping for very long amounts of time. :)
