I happen to love black heels with purple clothing. In my day, you always matched your purse to your heels so use a black purse also if you happen to carry a purse. White would be my second choice but it isn't the right season for white shoes here where I live I don't think. It is also always attractive when your shoes are the same color as the dress or at least some shade of the dress so you could consider purchasing a purple shade of shoes or buying those shoes that I've seen that can be dyed to match.

Your country is left unspecified, so i am not sure what the season is there, but white shoes are best saved for summer, warm weather times. Normally i would say to pick something in silver, for a funky twist, but if you don't have those, you can really never go wrong with black. With out knowing what the dress looks like i coudln't really tell you if the black wedge sandals or the black heels would look better with it, but if the dress is shorter, i would say probably the sandals...if longer, i would go with more covering shoe

I will go with white shoes. I think it will highlight your dress even more. I have seen celebrities wearing short purple dresses and white high heels on and they look really nice. Better if you could match it with a nice silver clutch or hand bag to accentuate your whole outfit. Enjoy! :)

I would go for purple. If you have lots of purple dresses or shirts, then you might considering investing in a pair. If not, black will be your best bet (if it's in the night) or white (daytime wear). This is just how I would dress myself if I were to have purple dress. As an afterthought, I often match the earrings though but not the shoes. I go for neutral colors like blacks and browns.
