I don't understand why you are asking this...your question is rather vague. Do you think they are because they believe in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy SPirit? They believe because they know the truth, not because they are superstitious.

In what way priest were superstitious then?
Do you mean becoz they believed in many superstition..like a black cat crossing our way is a badluck?...something like that?

well, in the Philippine context, priests are superstitious, in my opinion, as most if not all Filipinos are. I mean, a lot of people believe in this or that, even though there are no real explanation to these things. One thing that enters my mind is that, according to my prof, in the early times, they were the ones who introduced the concept of "multo" so as to make the children go home early because in the early times, the Babaylans were out during the night and talking to these children. well, a bit off topic but that's history.
