Do you buy pirated dvd's?

Me too, if only they can lower the price in a more resonable price, maybe piracy well as the popular saying "will die in a natural way", but sad to say a lot of singer and producer are filthy rich that they even earn our yearly income in just a couple of days.

well i buy pirated dvd's just to see whether the movie is worth a watch in theatre or not..... personally i buy lot of original dvd's and cd's for my collection ! even i'm an movie lover because that's the perfect thing for killing time.....

yes. it is available in my location. i prefer to buy the original to make a collection for my library. i have a huge number of original dvds and cds. sometimes my friend bring some pirated copies of adult movies bcoz the original copies of it is not available. thanks.

hi, there. I'm a movie fan too. But I never buy DVDs. Even I need to buy them, definately I would buy pirated ones because of the carming price. Anyway, I don't think those sold in department stores are authentic ones because the sales are very poor and businessman has to make profits, so there is no reason for thm to sel authentic ones even in shops. But I know things are quite different in US. people say if you can find some fake products, then you are beginning to make big money.

To be honest, I used to buy the pirated ones earlier. But the original themselves are priced at the rates which Pirated ones are being sold. So why use the Pirated ones???? Ex : Moser Baer has come out with a DVD at just Rs.40, whereas the Pirated ones too are available at the same price. Also, Pirated ones run the risk of unreliable print and other issues. so, I am sticking to original ones.

I don't think so, I wouldn't know where to get one - unless they are selling them at Walmart... Now, I have listened to some pirated audio books that my roomie downloaded - not to say she doesn't have legal books too, but I suspect some aren't.

Before I used to buy pirated dvd's but I just get so irritated because it's not that clear compared to originals. I just wait for sales and discounts so I can buy original cds. At least to help the movie industry.

Hellow....Im new to this mylot.....And i hope you guys will accept me with my views here.....i am also a movie lover and i am into this industry....i dont buy much of pirated dvd's. I bought very rarely...mostly i download it. Guys i saw a news resently which stated that all the money through this business goes to the underworld don Daud...Its one of his major source of income.....and you guys know how he uses this money.... So guys please....think while buying.... Take Care

several years ago, yes. The reason is the same as you.But now i prefer to see film on internet or download it. Coz it's cheaper than pirated dvds. It's completely free. And the movies from internet usually have better quality than it on pritated dvds.

Here locals that sells only original dvd are bound to go to broke (for example there was a blockbuster that broke after less than a year in business). People in here just buy pirated dvd´s. And is not a secret for anyone. Locals that sell pirated dvd´s are spread all over the cities in here. Although i know a few people that buy originals. They dont but every single movie, just the ones that are worthwhile for them.
