When did you start your maternity leave??

Well Im 22 weeks pregnant now and everyone is asking me when I am starting Maternity leave, I was hoping before Christmas lol. Having worked out how far I would be at Christmas, I would have at least 2 months before I am due. I know I would be bored sitting around the house not doing much. So I am now thinking after New Year, (bout the 3rd January) as I will be about 34/35 weeks then.
I don't want to start my maternity leave too early as I want to spend as much time with baby as possible, so when did you start your maternity leave?? How many weeks were you??

I'm 27 weeks now, and I would think I'd like to go sometime at 7 1/2 or 8 months, to be safe (so maybe 32ish weeks?). Depends on how I'm feeling, though.
I guess it also depends on your job, too. If you're on your feet all day, instead of sitting, I could see wanting to leave earlier.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!!
I work as a cashier in a supermarket and we are are provided with a chair at the checkout which I am grateful for (even before becoming pregnant lol)
Do you know what you are having? We didn't find out what we are having, it will be a nice surprise in February.

Thank you! Congrats to you too!!We don't know what we're having yet. I'm looking forward to the surprise. lol Everyone else is upset about waiting, though, because they won't know whether to buy us pink or blue things, but that's fine. There are other colours in the rainbow lol.

Hey how did your pregnancy go? What did you have? When did you start your maternity leave?
I started my maternity leave on the 3rd January, so I was 35 weeks. My pregnancy went well, I had a little boy born Wyatt John on 12th Feb (6 days late) He weighed 8lb 8oz, and he is now 2 months old.
