On my computer I actually use Vista because I do not have an available windows xp. ButI really like WINDOWS XP!Why? It is actually a very user friendly operating system and gives you no conflict especially to gamers! A lot of programs like games and security softwares that were actually made compatible with xp. But with Vista? It's not just slow but also have lots of conflicts with drivers and games. But of course, I can give a thumbs up for Vista for its graphics.
What do you prefer to use? XP or Vista? Why?

Hmm...XP is good for handling businesses but very prone to viruses. Unlike Vista's guard on your system and it is very good for home use. Many does not see this but hey, I don't blame them. Vista is very good when you are using fast computers like Toshiba. Of course in some computer, Vista is slow because of the memory or the lack there of. Vista has better graphics than XP. And yes, I do have problems with it when I am installing games and other applications but it maintains the safety of my files.
XP is wonderful to use especially when you want to play some certain games. But if you ask me what I choose...well, it would be Vista in Toshiba with AMD Turion processor. Works good for me!^^

Hello. I have Window Vista on my computer. I am very happy with it. It is very fast, and good to have softwares working on it. I had use Windows XP before on my laptop computer. I feel that was a bit slower than the Window Vista I now have on my desktop computer. I also play games there, quite fast and well manageable for different games.

let me tell you that windows vista sucks in every possible aspect and windows xp has been the finest operating system of microsoft, because according to performance you wont find vista better than xp due to it's features..
and it's the easiest operating system and user friendly whereas vista has lot of options where a user gets screwed up !
and vista has lots of bugs still acc. to experts !
so i still prefer Xp.

I have had windows xp for nearly 2 years and I love it. The problems are few and it is so so much better than windows 95 which I'd had prior to that. I have never used Vista so I really can't compare the two. I am perfectly satisfied with the system that I have so there has no reason for us to even check out other ways.

Operating system performs vital role in between user and computer hardware. Where Microsoft product reached all tastes and understood the requirement of users. Previously when they have other windows operating systems before XP every on had addicted to that one only. But the new XP improved all user requirement along with gamer needs.
Its being very long time with Windows XP by different versions and service packs, so most of us like Window XP more.

Hi,breinchem
I am using Windows XP at present.I think Vista is not convenient though it has fantastic user interface. My computer is not good enough to run Vista and this is also an important reason.Windows XP needs less resourses when we play games or watch movies.I think the most important reason is that I am accustomed to XP now.
However, as WIndows 7 is available now,I perhaps will buy one for a change.

I like XP, we ordinary users are generally games, office, document processing. XP also can do very well.
Security, XP is already very mature, and loopholes in ways very place, while the vista does, I wonder if a lot of loopholes, I do not want my computer when the virus was experimenting. Lol
Resource consumption, I think I will not say, and are familiar with the computer's friends know.
Therefore, I will never support XP, until WIN7 release.

I use XP because Vista is not good. If I had to use it, I will use Windows Seven, the latest. I used it and in fact, after I used it, I decided never to use Vista again. Anybody who uses it will come to that decision. It is such a nice Operating System with many advanced features and rock stable.

I prefer to use Windows XP for its rich features.
I would go with XP as long as everything is supported by XP. In fact, there are way too many laptops around that are trying to run vista with min spec. , XP will run faster and a lot more stable IMO.
XP has mature to where is the best one in the market of OS, which is a great and efficient operating system.
