The current method of education suckzz..

Before getting into the details, let me say, i hate the current method of education i'm forced to follow here. The foremost thing i hate about the system is teaching about some old technologies which are no longer used and are of no use to be learning about. Isn't it so stupid to waste our time just by learning the old and never used stuff? What's the use of just designing the same old things again? It would be better if we are given more time to design new things. Exams, especially written exams, aren't they really a waste of time? Rather than innovating, we are just omitting things that we mugged up in our heads the night before. I don't have a better definition for exams than this one! Aaahh.. then comes uniform, [ we have uniforms here even in colleges !]. That's something that should be banned!!! When there's ID card, then what's the importance of uniform?? Come on now, what are your views?

I believe that learning should be about getting stuff done. The ability to exspress ones ideas and problem solve should be worked on. I hate repeating what someone has told me but it is what has to be done. When I am learning about new techs and I forget what new word for the same thing is called I got it wrong cause I don't care what you call it, I just care that I know how it works.
I think that people should get Jobs in school not after. Like get jobs from school that will fit their lifestyle. So it is like on the job training. Not a crazy search after to pay off loans and pay rent.

Yes....I am in your side.The parents and teachers should know the interest of a student.And try to motivate them in their skills.Otherwise studies will be a tough task to students and they cant perform effectively even in their skills.

Aye man.....you have said it!!!Its long that i have been waiting for such a discussion!!!
Education should be made optional...and there should be a variety of interesting topics to be selected....not those engg& medicine only......
The education system should thoroughly be revised...and so be the mindset of the society...

Hmm, we should be given the liberty to choose the subjects we want to study. Also, they should be seeking our opinion on how we would like to learn them. I don't support the system of teacher-taking-class and getting everything mugged up. Let there be teachers only to clarify our doubts about things we learn on our own.
