"END OF THE WORLD IN 2012" truth or joke

For me the end of the world is not base of the time we know it's the base of only GOD knows and it came the time of like the mother giving berth. In the bible we read even the son of GOD don't know the time of GOD judgment. But as we have notice today the calamity break all over the world that's the sine of very near happened the end of the bad.

Dear friend, I had heard this in most of times and the last times I heard on end of world would be on 2000. I could assure you that this world will not end at 2012, moreover may be it will go for another hundred years.

I believe that there is an end to everything even to our beloved earth. Nothing lives forever. LOL The end is inevitable but as to when and how is anybody's guess. It is pointless to speculate on when it will happen anyway. We would rather enjoy the moment and contribute positively to delay the inevitable. cheers.

I recently watched a documentary about this too. It was said that there were a lot of prophecies that the world will end on Dec.21,2012. The date was that specific. According to the documentary, this prophecy was told by all the famous ones all over the world, like the Delphi Oracle in Greece, Manyan natives in South America, Merlin, the Bible, I Ching in China, etc. As for me, I don't really believe this. Whether this will come true or not, well, let's just live life to the fullest. Work hard,party harder. At the same time, let's do our share of charity and kindness to the more unfortunate ones.

Whenever some nutcase is shouting ''its the end of the world'' i always laugh in my head and think ''what a nutter'' But the 2012 saga is starting to feel a little too much anxiety for comfort. The reason being is firstly the mayans predicted it with their famous calander, This calander was so precise we now know they were only seconds out on their timing, they knew where venus was and where certain stars are that cant been seen without the use of a telescope. We also know that at the same time there will be an allignment of the planets, Which we know will cause out poles to shift which in itself will cause a devestation upon our planet as waters and land move with the poles. Theres also the enlightment on this ''planet x'' which only enters our solar system every so many thousand years, Nasa claimed that from april 2009 the planet would be visable from austrailia and true to form there it was in broad daylight sat next to the sun, We think this planet may collide with earth. Its also come to light that our goverment are actually getting ready for this even though we dont know what will happern if even anything will happern at all. But if any of these myths and storys are true or not only time will tell, And if a massive distruction happerns...well we aint gonna be able to do much about it are we???!

Hi oda_crem,Yes I believe in that because it is written in the Holy Bible. But No one ever know the exact time and date because God only knows When to happen.All signs that written in the bible is happening now a days.End of the world is too soon to come.We must be prepared.Thanks,more power!

Hi oda_crem, This world will end for each of us when we die, but don't expect anything special to happen in December of 2012. People have been predicting the end of the world for thousands of years and it hasn't happened. We now have the power to destroy all life on the planet but hopefully that won't happen. If it does the earth will eventually renew itself and some sort of life start over again. There may will be some changes coming about that will be better for mankind but don't believe all those stories going around about the end of the world. Blessings.

It's not the end of the world. It's just the end of an era and maybe a start of a new one. Just because a calender end at some point doesn't mean it's the end of the world. Besides.. if it's the end of something, it's the end of humanbeings. Something living will always survive.

It's a lot of rubbish... Remember 06-06-06? June six, 2006? 666? That was very funny... But regarding about those blogs that the world is going to end in 2012, it's just very informative and very interesting... Now that's coincidence! Or is it?

Why do you believe in stuff like these? Maybe you watch too many movies or read too many negative books on the end of the Earth. There are far more "real" things to worry about than "Doomsday 2012". By the way, I find the movie "Doomsday 2012" ridiculous and too far fetched. Worry more on your job, unemployment, earthquakes, tsunamis, H1N1, bird flu, etc instead.

There's nobody knows when the time comes to an end, its like the thief that no one knows of their coming, the time will come to end when the Lord Jesus Christ return to earth, thats for sure, true that He is coming soon and His second coming are trully have seen now like disasters, calamities, war, pestinence and hunger, if you want to know more about the end of times, read the Bible, it can help you a lot.. thanks...

I don't know about the end of the world but I'm quite curious on the Mayan civilization who predicted it. May or may it not be true let's just pray that we can be all saved:)

I don't believe on that. I always been believing a life of people will only end not the world. Why kept on anticipating the end of the world. Why just we people take time to change our self for better and try changing our relationship to other people for good.

Hopefully the world doesnt end, there seems to be an awful lot of coincedental predictions centuries apart from alot of different races around the world. Stories or truth? Wait and find out. :P

yes even i have read about it that it's gonna be dooms day but i just dont believe it yet... but i respect our ancestors because what all they have predicted so far have almost turned to be truth except some of the things... all we could do is just wait for that day and if we saw a rising sun then may be we could think we are saved !

I think 2012 is too soon. We're almost going to 2010. That's what they believe the world would be in 2012 but they are a lot of beliefs about other stuff too such as aliens but we don't know if it's true or not. Unless the sun hits the Earth, I don't think it will come true.
