To Those Who Love the High Heeled Shoe...

What is it that makes them so alluring? They aren't versatile, they hurt my feet, they pinch my toes, the heels wear down and it bothers my ankles, but I still keep putting them back on and enduring more of this pain. Why do so many women actually enjoy wearing these uncomfortable shoes? And what is it about the heels that men seem to appreciate?
For me, it's the arch it gives my flat feet, the little boost it gives to the calves, and the extra height I gain. Even though I'm already tall and long legged, I've always enjoyed being able to tower over people as much as I possibly can. What makes high heels a shoe of choice for you?

Heels just have a way of making every woman's legs look long, lean, sexy and toned. They're stylish, so a pair of heels can really dress up an outfit. They come in so many different varieties, and can be so attractive, that it's hard not to pick them up and buy them even if you don't require any more shoes. And for the vertically challenged, like me, it makes me look taller and leaner.
I think men love them because of how they make our legs look. Heck, I love to stare at my legs in a mirror when I have heels on. Foxy!

I agree they do make women's legs look great. Also i think they make the bum look better too, maybe its just the change in proportions from the extra height/leg length.
But as it has been said, high heels arent that great for your health, so wear them in moderation. Also buy ones that fit properly. And ones with pointed toes cant be great for your toes!

It makes you look pretty without trying, helps you gain confidence and you feel so good wearing them. this happens to be especially true when you wear a pair that you feel comfortable with. not only does it add the extra height, i love the way the sound it makes on the floor. ;) also, these shoes look impossibly alluring when you try them on, not too often you'll be so tempted to buy them. sigh. the sin of temptation.

high heels are definitely alluring and sexy for women, i love them, not only for the appearance, but also the height i gain by wearing it, as i am not a tall woman, but since i don't have a lot of money to spend on shoes, i barely wear them, because only the good ones is comfy, and the comfy ones are really expensive which is out of my league. one more thing i don't wear high heels nowdays is because i have a back problem, the heels is not helping it at all, so this dream will need to be continued to my next life, haha.
