Favorite type of movies

I used to enjoy watching fantasy type movies too but that made me more idealist so I stopped. But then I became addicted to romantic comedy movies. So right now, I'd rather watch some funny movies than watching people kill each other. But that's just me.

Sci fi and fantasy movies are my thing because it creates another world and not much focus on reality.

I like most kinds of movies. I like to read the movie critics reviews of a movie before I watch them. So I don't waste time watching a bad movie. I can watch any kind of movie like horror, thriller, drama, romance or comedy. And I mentioned most, I'm not really into chick flicks and gore types...

my favourites are gory horror,but i've yet to find one that actually scares me,i don't mind watching the odd action or comedy,but if i had the choice it would be horror every time

I like to watch movies that are visually impressive like blockbuster action films or war epics, with impressive casts and big budgets. I think that this is what movies are all about, and I feel like I can disconnect from my surroundings by being captivated and drawn in by these movies. I don't like horror coz I find they don't scare me at all and are generally rubbish. I'd watch a comedy if I hear its good and even chick flicks if the cast is appealing
