I thought something was a scam. It turned out not to be.

Under the task section of myLot, someone is offering you $4.00 if you go to their website and click on the donation button. Then, it takes you to your paypal account and asks if you want to donate two dollars. With some trepidation, I clicked yes. In the back of my mind, I thought this person was a schemer. But, low and behold, yesterday (a mere 36 hours after turning the task in) I received four dollars. They say you can't always believe everything you read, but I believe this.

what's the point of doing that though - all that happens if it's not a scam is that you get your $2 back, and I don't see what the task setter gets out of it. (Unless they've got some sort of secret deal set up that any donations the site gets are doubled)

i will be trying one of these as soon as i have a few dollers to spare in my paypal account, again id lovr to know what the person offering it is getting out of it? would it be like a form of a loan maybe? it seems really odd they ask for so little and then double it up a few days later...could be a way to finance a buisness deal
