I have a 9 month old baby that sleeps really early at night. She sleeps at 7 pm and wakes up at 4 am. The problem is, she won't go back to sleep. So when lunch time comes, she is all fussy and throws tantrums. I am having a hard time handling her tantrums. Please help! How do I get her to sleep before lunch and how do I handle her tantrums? She cries so loud that it gets really annoying.

Baies do not throw tantrums like toddlers. Some things can be part of their habit. To avoid from being cranky at noon time, you need to giver her a warm water bath and make her sleep after feeding at around 10'o clock in the morning. pUt her in the cradle oe make her swing. She will sleep off and makethat a habit for her. Once she sleeps at 10, she may sleep again in the noon to evening time an this would delay her sleep at night.

the thing is, no matter how sleepy she is, she will not sleep! i tried everything. then after a awhile, she gets cranky, will cry for 20 minutes or so.. then that's the only time she will sleep.

hi gorjuzlilz10 no a nine month old baby does not have temper
tantrums, a toddler does. But a nine month old baby can get very very cranky. if she is fussy could she possibly be cutting her first teeth, it has been awhile since I had my own little baby that I have lost track of the time for teething. She must have some kind of discomfort to be so fussy. Perhaps if you could keep
her more awake until maybe nine then she might sleep all the way through. If she continues to act like this I would take her to her pediatrician for some help. wish I had more to offer you.

Well, the best way to handle tantrums is to ignore a child, only if he or she is now a toddler. Since she is only an infant, well you need to provide her needs. Maybe, she needs something that you just missed.
