Do you write down discussion ideas before typing them up on the computer? I like to write a certain amout of discussions every day, so i like to write down my discussion ideas, i keep a pad with me so that when a idea pops into my head i am able to write it down and have it for later when im on the computer and type uo my discussions, also i find it helps get things done alot faster so that i can respond to everone on mylot. Happy Mylotting!

Yes I do some time when it really matters big. Because the discussion must be clear to every one and the formation must be simple and easy to give reply. Most of the time I use to write discussion at peaceful mind. May be its important to all of us to write new disucssion with strong matter in it.

good idea...I keep forgetting my discussion ideas that come to me randomly...random ideas come to my mind throughout the day...the next day when I login to mylot...I can't remember those...it is hard to keep a note pad with me all the time...I usually make a note of those ideas on my mobile which I always carry..

I write down the discussion topics, before starting a discussion. I always do that. I also save them as text messages in drafts of my cell phone. I get ideas on a sudden and forget them very fast. Somtimes I get ideas when I take shower, watch TV, read magazines, talking with friends. I save it as soon as I get it, because I can't agree with forgetting it in the next second.

Once I used to take some notes on a piece paper about the issues to be discussion if they come to my mine when I am offline. But I missed most of such papers. Then I started to make a note in my mobile and left that habit also as it took too much of time to key in the words in the mobile even if they are two or three words. Now I will start some discussions if I get some ideas when I am on line and interested to start. But I don't get much ideas when I am on line. But lot of matters are striking me when I am offline ,but when we are online, not able to recall them.

Hi Swadey, I usually just type my ideas whenever I participate in any discussions. I just write whatever come to my mind at that moment. But if that discussions need some facts, I will do some research so I can give a real points or something like that. That why sometimes I posted my post a bit late.

To reply to something like a forum, i usually just stick with creativity, or think ideas out as I type. I guess in the end, it all depends on the depth of the forum discussion, and the subject at hand. Most of the time however, the ideas presented on here are rather light in nature (that I have been a part of anyway). It is an awesome idea to write something out beforehand, Swadey. I'm glad that helps you on here to reply to various posts on here. I have merely scratched the surface of this website apparently, but from what I have encountered so far, it seems as though the openness of this site is rather mind-expanding. I'm so glad that I found this site out of the blue. Happy MyLotting by the way! :)

What I do is just come up with a topic and start typing. I suppose I could write my ideas down first then type them later, but I would just rathe post my ideas as I come up with them. I don't start to many disucssions, as it does take me time to come up with a good topic to begin with. I think that is one of the reason I don't relly start all that many discussions. It is just much easier to post responses to other discussions, since I don't really have to think about that I want to say, as it just seems to flow out. I am glad for that though, as I don't like taking forever to figure out what to say. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

...Hi Swadey, Hope you are well. I tend to write as I am thinking. I will rered and correct if necessary, but most of the time I am able to put down my thoughts as I go. Hopefully not rambling too much as I go. I think that whatever works best for the writer is the way to go. Time saving things that work, help out an awful lot. Take it easy.

My ideas for discussions come to me while trying to respond to other people's discussion. Sometimes I get so riled up on my response and I don't type as fast as I think that I get tangent ideas. That my friend is how a discussion is born out of my head. LOL!
