Do you eat enough at the right time? Well, in my case i don't eat at the right time because I usually wake up late. So, i usually end up eating "brunch" and It was my routine since i finished schooling. Even if i wake up so early i'm too lazy to eat my breakfast and always in a hurry to finish everything so that i can go online.(grin) How about you? what is your story? are you conscious and strict when it come to eating?

simonelee,
I wish to say that I eat on time. But since being a mother to an active toddler, I always forget to eat and only remember when I feel my stomack growling. This is definitely not good for my health. I think I need to set the alarm to remind me to eat on time! lol..

hi, submerryn. Why don't eat together? why don't you eat also when you 're feeding your child? well, I also did that every time my niece are here, i usually lost appetite. It's so tiring to feed a toddler, you have to go after him/her and you should have all the talent and techniques in feeding them. Thank you for your time.

Dear simonelee,
Great and healthy topic today!
My problem is I am theoritically wise but
I did not practice the right eating habit.
I hardly take breakfast nor lunch because
I do not have that kind of money to spend.
The most is a drink of plain water, Milo
or a glass of milk (if I am lucky..LOL)
The cost of living here is expensive. I only
make sure my son have proper lunch before he
goes to school. He need it more than me because
he is a growing up child!
Dinner I have proper because we cook, so got
chance to eat healthy simple dinner. But my son
dinner is more on fast food type, he needs to
outgrow this!

Are you always in a hurry every morning that's why you don't have time to prepare food? I thought leaving in Malaysia is as cheap as other Asian countries. So you mean to say you eat once a day? you're leaving in a unhealthy life style. You also need to take care of your self, what if something bad happened to you? what's gonna happened to your son?

Dear Simonelee,
Thanks for your concerns..truly appreciate it!
I am a poor living within the high society in the
city of Kuala Lumpur where the cost of living is
much higher. My mum and my sister are staying with
me too. I am surviving in this city for nearly 4 years
without working and stable income. I have to budget the
money for dinner & for my son meals & school necessities!
I have to set priorities in many occasions... No Choice!
My son know about this, that's why at times when he eat,
he will purposely leave some for me to have a bite!
Sometimes this 'ugly' TRUTH in the city was well hidden
in ones own privacy. I was thinking of writing the survival
in this metropolitan city. Despite living in a tight budget,
at times I still have to send some money back to hometown
to help my other sibling and father. It has reached a point
that I am giving up on my hometown and just focus on my little
satellite family here
Yes, I understand what you said, I need to take care of my health
so that I can take care of my son. I do bear that in my mind. If I
can't take it anymore, I will look for something to eat. Thanks!

"...living" rather. Being concern is innate to us. we don't want our fellow man at risk. Anyway, are you an immigrant? Why do you prefer staying their if you and your family suffer? Finding job is not as easy as before either you're a degree holder or not. Your son truly understand your situation. I hope soon you'll find a stable job for the better of your family. Thank you for sharing, Iriene.

You do care much of your health. well, yes. we can't function well if our stomach is empty. when I'm hungry and nothing to munch i feel like wanting to knock down the people surrounding me. I can't really control my temper when i'm hungry. Thanks for sharing, Jl.

I'm very conscious and strict about when I eat and what I eat. I usually eat my breakfast between 9am and 10am, lunch is between 1pm and 2:30pm and dinner is usually at 6:00pm. Then between 9 and 11 I will have a cup of tea.

only lunch and supper are "somewhat" on time. i sometimes eat or skip breakfast because of time constraint, lol. that happens when i wake up late. i make sure though that i have something to eat when i get to the office... it is usually bread and coffee for breakfast for me.

Every weekend when my dad is here we always eat in time. But on week days I eat at anytime I want. Usually I don't eat breakfast because I always wake up late too. I don't eat in a hurry because I want to taste and cherish the food.

I could not say that I eat on time. People have different ideas in so far as eating time is concerned. In my case, I usually have a usual time for eating. I do not take any breakfast. Only coffee in the morning around 6am. I take another round of coffee at 9 or 10 am. By 11 to 11:30, that is lunch time for me. Then another round of coffee at 3pm. My dinner usually is at 7 pm. That is my usual time and usually my regular habit.

Like you I consistently wake up late in the morning except on Sundays, in which I am roused from my sleep 30 mins. earlier than usual LOL. So, when I usually wake up, everyone is already done with breakfast, and I am left with rice and whatever else they choose to leave me. I feel like I always eat satisfactorily most mornings, though I wouldn't consider it "on time." This morning was a different story though. I woke up to find out that I was only left with rice. Nothing else, not even some fruit (which my mom insists I eat). I was so sad. I had to make do with a slice of chocolate cake, a piece of cheese, citrus flavored vegetable juice and a few MnMs. It's like the best and worst breakfast menu at the same time LOL! I made up for it during lunch though, as I had Japanese food with friends. As for lunch, I always eat on time, that being 12 to 12:30 for lunch. For dinner, my schedule is erratic. Sometimes I eat mine as early as 6pm to as late as 8pm.

'Eat on time'? I'm afraid I don't even know what that means anymore.
I guess that is one of the negative effects of entering the workforce, instead of being a stay at home student - looked after and spoilt by parents.
Nowadays, it is just a question of remembering to eat - usually when my growling tummy reminds me.
I wish I could be more careful, and health conscious - but that remains one of my eternal new year resolutions - the one that I somehow just seem to get around to doing.
Maybe next year :)

Hi,Garfield. Maybe today's generation we are not more conscious when it comes to eating on time or it's part of growing up? When we get old, we become lazy in eating because we become more focus on other stuff.well, yes. are parents make sure that we eat on time and get enough nutrients every time they feed us.
So, your new year's resolution will be eating on time? Hmmm... i doubt! on back of your mind "maybe I can do it again next year" hahahahaha.
Thanks. happy mylotting.

For people who work on a shifting schedule (like me), Eating at the right time is not a concern anymore. My 3 basic regular meal starts are follows : 5am - 11am - 6pm. When I'm on the next shift, it will change eventually.

I have a daughter in elementary school. So we eat at pretty routine time. Breakfast is usually at 7:15 am. Dinner is at 5 pm. I'd say lunch is the wild card for me. Since it is just me and my 9 month old son, I just wait til I have a moment. That can be a different time daily.

yes, i do eat on time, but sometimes i failed especially if i am not yet hungry so i won't force myself eating on time. There are times that i don't eat my meals at all when i am having snacks before meal time.

Hello, it's not a good habit for you not to eat breakfast in time because it's very important for health to eat breakfast in time.Whatever you eat in the morning is very good for your stomach. Most of the young don't eat anything in the breakfast time, because they have good healthy body state, they can suffer from the long-term hunger. But when they are aging, their fitness of stomach will decline. So I suggest that to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in time, which is helpful for your health.
