I got help from a beggar. Once I went to church on a Saturday evening. I was distrubed and thought about spending some time praying in silence. I saw a beggar sitting at the front door of the church. As soon as I got out of the church, she called me 'baby, baby'. I didn't turn my head because I knew that she wanted money and I was not ready to give money.
She kept calling me and I looked at her. She pointed me to my credit card which fell down from my purse.

Well done indeed.O(n_n)O
I had a similar experience with you about 2 years ago. I met a goner near a supermarket. The weather is so cold that we didn't feel well as we dressed many clothes, so I took off my coat and took it to him...
In fact, have you realized that we are helping others when making reponses on myLot?

Yes, we are helping other when we respond to a discussion. We are helping ours and others are the same time. It is a win-win situation. It is so kind to help a stranger. All the people don't have the mentaility do that. Many people don't even take an effort to help the people who expect help from them. I mean relatives and friends. Thanks for the response.

I had the same experience as you have told. When I was young,we went on a school excursion and we were asked to bath in a swimming pool.As I didn't know swimming,I was standing near the corner but I was suddenly pushed in by somebody and I thought I was finished then.but somebody pulled me out and saved me and I ran off from the scene not even looking back who saved me.

I used to travel and the usual help that i get from strangers is the direction for places that i need to visit for meetings, interviews and venues for trainings.
My first time to visit the US, i asked a stranger about the nearest Catholic Church in the Southeast part of washington dc. he called his friends and asked for help and found one...walking distance from where i am located. he was an angel, a heaven sent and i thank him for that.

That is very nice of the stranger. Yes, there is a saying that they will get the help back to their help to others. We feel so thankful to the people who helped us. At the same time we expect help from the people who are close to us and the people whom we helped in many situations, but they may drop us in that case. Thanks for the response.

Before, me and my friends usually swim in the beach. Then suddenly the waves are very strong and big. I can't swim because I panic, I was drown that time. There are group of kids that help me. They are the one pull me into the shore. So thankful to them, even I don't know them and they still help me and save me.

Yes!I have got help from strangers especially in unknown areas to search for the address. Most people are ready to help and there are some mischievous fellows who mislead us.But individual people are more generous to help at any time. And I have helped some strangers too in my life.Cheers!

Hello daliaj,
Yes i did.
It was last month i guess,i was rushing to go to the bank and becoz of i was really in a rush that time(rushing with time),it is nearly 3pm and the bank closes by 3pm.
I rode a jeep and when i open my purse to pay my fare,i saw only a 500 pesos bill in my wallet. The fare is only 7 pesos,i scan my bag in search for some coins, check my coin purse but to see only 2 pesos.
I keep looking inside my bag, checking my bag's pocket hoping to see more coins, but to no avail.
Then,a stranger who is sitting besides me probably had hints what i am troubling with whispers to me,"don't worry i will pay your fare".
I looked at him as if i saw an angel,i can't even say my thanks.
I smiled at him and asks where he is going, and he say's he's heading to the bank.
When we both get down from the public jeep,i keep saying thank you becoz he went the other bank just beside the bank where i am going to.
Sometimes, incidents gives us lessons too.Now i always check if i had enough coins or smaller bills before boarding public transport.
Thanks to that stranger,my angel in disguise

Yes, I did. Once I was travelling alone with my 2 kids in Europe. I had 1 too many bags and only two hands. My kids could not be expected to carry them because they are too small (4 and 6 at that time). I got on the train and practically left my bags in the corridor because I have to install my kids in their seats. No one really helped because everyone was rushing to get in and out of the trains. In most developed countries, that's basically your problem. Everyone minds their own business. Until this black man came and just picked up my bags without even saying anything. I was really grateful for that and vowed never to carry more than 1 bag especially with 2 young kids in tow.

oh,in my mind, have I got the help from stranger? No~~~But sometimes I give help to other strangers.
Once I was in the canteen and look for the vacant in the canteen.Oh,yes, here is man who has just now finished and leaving now. I went to the place and a bunch of keys caught my eyes.Oh, the man left his keys on the tabel. I took the key and walk around in the canteen to find the man.Yes, got it!
"hello sir, your keys":\"oh thank you so much!"
Another time, I was taking the bus and an young lady got on the bus. The bus is coin box bus, every passenger need to prepare one coin by slef. However, the lady standing beside the coin box for a long time,She left her wallet at home. Then I put one coin in the box for her!
"thank you so much":\"Never mind"
hehe~~I believe one day I will be helped by one stranger too, yaya
