hi feodda,
i love both. singing and dancing are both my hobbies aside from crocheting. in singing i can express my inner feelings through songs. sometimes i can relate with the messages/lyrics of the song i really feels good...nostalgic and romantic. in dancing i burn lots of calories and keeps me fit. i love to do the grind/aero dance, swing and boogie.

this brings me to my discussion about themesongs...for your loved ones. once you're touched by the song or its lyrics you can always associate it with the kind of feeling, friendship, relationship and experience with a particular person.
also with dancing you can always go back to the era when you're teenager, when you got married, when you had children and being exposed to to the era of your parents. that ballroom dancing thing, a good bonding session where both old and young can relate and can appreciate it.

Well, I much prefer singing to dancing as dancing demands a lot of energy from me! ...
Seriously though, when I was a professional musician on piano/keyboards, I worked with many bands and we played music just for dancing. I often sang with the bands, which I enjoyed, but I guess I guess because I worked in this field, in my spare time the last thing I wanted to do was to go out dancing! - Derek

well, I like singing better, but to tell you honestly, I suck at both of them. hahahha. though I really really love singing, specially when I'm alone, cause I don't need to get embarrassed about my toneless voice. hehehe. But as my boyfriend once said, it's okay that I sing my heart out anytime I want, just don't try to dance again, cause it's painful to look at.. hahahahaha.

I love both. Dancing while singing songs that I like is the best. I cannot dance nor sing very well. I can carry a note but it is sometimes out of tune. As regards to dancing, I like free dancing but I wish I could learn to do the tango. It is so elegant and yet arrogant at the same time.

I love to dance! Maybe because I do not have talent in singing :) But I think it runs in the genes as my sisters also like to dance as well. In fact my youngest sister belongs to Dance Group in her school and is very passionate about dancing. I am not that though. I just participate in group dancing just for fun and sometimes to gain new friends. It is just odd that my husband does not have this talent so we can be a great pair in the dancing floor.

I am definitely better at singing than dancing. I was trained in musical theatre so I had to do both, but my singing and acting is definitely stronger than my dancing.
Having said that I do a fair bit of both while alone in my apartment...lol

I love singing. It has been my hobby since I was a kid. It really helps me to relax when I'm stressed. I love singing alone or going for karaoke with friends. As for dancing, I'm game for anything, just don't ask me to dance lol

I love singing even though singing doesn't like me as much as I like it
I'm a very slow learner when it comes to dancing and the only dance I can dance well is an interpretative dance What's funny is that I managed to get into theater and became a thespian without even having to do greatly in the two fields

Frankly speaking, I am sux at both singing and dancing. Normally, I'll hide that skill. After all, it's not really nice for a woman to display their dance skill in public here. But if I am with my friends and we're secluded, I can sing and dance with all my heart. Since they already know me, they don't care my off pitch tone and weird dance style.
