What I'm asking is, is this your career? Do you work full time online, with no other jobs and nobody else helping you out, online work is what you do to pay the bills...
If so, how the hell do you do it? I mean, I'm a writer full time, and it always fascinates me to learn of how someone else outside of the industry writes online and makes it work for them and their family. If you're one of these people, I salute you, but ya gotta tell your secret....

But really, I'm a novice at writing Triond is where i am and is great for me as I can write alot of freelance stuff. Short stories, poems, pics and vids aswell!! Bukisa is fine but for writing short publications, is no good for me as write up to 500+ words.. lol But they do pay little more....

You should try Helium. There are many different topics to write on, and the pay is pretty decent once you get established, though getting established takes a bit of work. You could also write reviews for reviewstream, I have had some good luck with them.
If you seriously want to publish fiction, I would check out http://www.spicygreeniguana.com which has a list of the magazines you can write for.

Opalina, I gotta disagree with you about Helium. I have to say that of what I got paid by Associated Content, they pay better than Helium does. I personally am making some money at Ehow and Associated Content and have gotten paid by them by paypal. But at Ehow though? I get paid by them each month even though my articles on there was months ago or even a year ago.
At Associated Content, they pay upfront and performance payment. I had gotten paid twice so far for August and September for this year even though I had been a member at AC since September 2008 and it was just for performance payments.

Writing is my full time job. I write for Reviewstream and Helium online, have just started writing for Work-online, as well as being a freelance author who sends things out to magazines (though I currently am focusing on my online endeavors)
I cheat though- I am also collecting disability. That is what I used to pay my bills for the most part. Since I'm home all the time, I have the luxury of being able to write for as long as I want. Which is pretty cool.
The money I make through writing pays my cable, phone and internet bill each month, with more left over, but my disability money pays my rent and food.
