Iriene, before I had my child, I don't really enjoys jeans. I prefer to have skirts or pants and I find having jeans are quite plain.
Now, with a child, I find jeans are easier (at least I don't have to keep washing them)
Back to your question first...
1) How many pair do you have?
I have 2 pairs of jeans pants and 2 jeans skirt..
2) What colour are they?
All sorts of blue shades
3) What is the brand?
I got 1 Levis, and the rest are from Jusco
4) Do you like wearing them and when?
I now quite frequent wearing them, and I wears them whenever I go out and just don't want to carry a bag.
5) At what age do you start wearing jeans?
OH.. I started at a young age.. say about 10
Another thing about jeans, I love them due to the pockets, as then I can just put my cash, cards and others in them and don't really need a bag since I need to carry my baby all the time...

I think jeans pants are the perfect wear for mummy, LOl. It makes things more convenience and comfortable to wear, you can walk, run kneeling.........
I don't wear any skirts at all as I find that is so hard for me to walk especially going out with toddlers.
I like the pockets in the jeans. I like to put my cell phone in the pocket and it is hardly fall down.
So Cwong, how often you wash your jeans???

Dear cwong77,
Oh yes, I like those pockets too. I used
to put my car key in there
Both my jeans are from Jusco too! Wow, you
have the original jeans - the 'Levi's!
My first jeans was when I am 10 years old also
But, it was a dark brown in colour. My mum bought
for me for Chinese New Year. Truly agree with you,
wearing jeans is more convenient and comfortable!
Life has change so much when we have baby, even our

Dear yolanda,
Wearing dress is lighter and fun during summer.
It makes us more 'lady like'
However, once awhile in your jeans is great too!
Flexible and versatile, can match any top - blouse,
t-shirts and shirts. Not need to have so many jeans,
as jeans are very durable, long lasting and 'evergreen'.
Thanks for sharing and happy myLotting :)

I have lots of pairs that I lost count
Colors are mostly washed out blue, dark blue and black
Levis is my most favorite jeans brand besides some others
I love wearing them all the time
I started out way young like 12 or 13

You too like your black Levi. This brand is the original brand
for jeans many years back and still is the leader in jeans apparels.
Jeans is so versatile, durable and long lasting, no worries,
it is never out of fashion

1. i have 3 pairs of jeans.
2. 2 of those jeans are in navy and one in black.
3. am not particular with the brand . i'm more of the cut. after giving birth and just a tad 3 lbs. away from a gymnast's weight i still find that tight fitting jeans in my waistline are still too small. with maternity jeans in small size i get ample room for a not so firm tummy and still get the shape of my legs showing.
4. i only wear jeans when i have to be semi-formal. i pair it with a formal top. otherwise it's my tights for me or my yoga pants.
5. i had my first pair when i was 13. before that i was pretty in dresses and skirts. it was my grandmother who told my mom to get me a pair since am starting to look quite weird with my friends already.

i know i might get that i do yoga response with what i posted. i don't . i just bought the pants that was in line with body music's display of my favorite tights and i was fascinated with their pants that i touched and was surprised it's yoga pants. i like zip free bottoms as my maternity choice of jeans and tights would show. i feel proud whenever i wear my yoga pants for i know that to those who know what those are would think that wow, i do yoga. i don't . am too impatient for that quiet and difficult form of exercise. no offense. i also might suffer misplaced bones or strained muscles from that. just kidding.

Another great discussion from you. See the responses you have got here, salute!
Tell you the truth, I only started wearing jeans last year (I am 29 years old this year). Imagine all the while I just like long dress, short skirt or short pants. I do not like jeans because I have fat thighs. I will looked very "meaty" with tied jeans.
I was teasing by my sister all this while that I never wear jeans. So I decided to challenge myself with having a pair of jeans. I was extremely happy that it really suits me after my first try on it. For sure, I bought it and since then I will wear jeans for most of my outing.
I think I will add another pair of jeans in my wardrobe soon (one is not enough).

Hi Iriene, Good Day to you.
Yeah, no joke Iriene, I just started wearing jeans last year. Luckily I managed to find a suitable size and cutting for me at my first attempt, or else I think I will have my first jeans at a much later time.
I do not have a branded jeans. It is called Goggles. I just like its light blue and grey colour.
You have fat thighs too? But if you are tall then you will look smart with jeans. For me, I will normally wear jeans with high heels so that I can look taller.

I like black jeans. I wear the often along with dark blue jeans with a fade of white.
1. I have over 20 pairs maybe.
2. They are mostly different shades of blue. Some have faded white in them. I also have 2 or 3 black pairs
3. Some are Levi, Some are Avirex and some are Urban Pipeline. I don't know what the other brands are.
4. I wear them almost everyday. I like wearing them, they look good.
5. I started when I was really young. I don't know what age exactly. Maybe a year or two after I learned how to walk.

As a child of the 60s, nearly all my pants are jeans. They are comfortable and I don't have to worry to much about what I do in them. When I was a kid, my father used to really get on at me to wear "tidy" pants. I don't know what it was like in other countries, but here in the UK, my father's generation only wore jeans for doing manual work, not for going out and hanging out with friends. Thins have really changed now... - Derek

Oh yeh.. I've seen those below-the-waist jeans.. I don't know how they stay up! . I couldn't wear them.. I'm probably showing my age, but why would anybody want to wear pants when it looks like as if they started to run or something, they could so easily fall down around your ankles? When I first saw them, I couldn't help but laugh... Oh well, fashions come and fashions go. When I was a kid, you couldn't get your jeans on or off unless you laid down - there were that tight! I suppose that was crazy too.. It was to my Dad anyway! - Derek

Dear Derek,
Yes, the origin of jeans - for durable and sturdy wear
mainly for doing manual works like mining etc. Nowadays,
jeans is so versatile, trendy and as a very popular casual
wear for many.
I find jeans are very versatile especially
when travelling. It is easy to match too. I
can wear it with t-shirt, blouse, shirts or
any top! It is quite difficult for me to buy
jeans nowadays because majority of the jeans
are below waist... I am abit conservative!
Thanks Derek for a wonderful response, cheers!

Dear Derek,
Thanks for your prompt reply!
Talking about those 'below the waist' jeans, they are
very popular among young generation. Normally they will
match it with a long t-shirt or blouse. However, some are
more daring, they will wear it with short t-shirt, so once
they sit or squat, it is really sexy. To make it trendy and
fashionable, most of them , girls and guys will need to wear
those branded undies like CK, MNG as 'fashion statement'.
Cheers and have a great day

I don't know what brand they are because I did not pay any attention. I did not buy them, they wer given to me by a friend. One pair I wear quite often because it is comfortable and fits better than the other one.

Dear lumenmom,
I too find some difficulty in finding a suitable jeans.
My leg is not long enough. At times I have to fold the end!
It don't look good once folded up, and easily dirty. There
was once I nearly fall down due to my high heels stuck on
the folded material. Then I decided to cut it off myself
and hand sew the end at the bottom..
One advantages about jeans is that it is versatile and easy

And it is durable too. Thanks for sharing & have a great day!

Hi Iriene,
Nice discussion you have there!
I like to wear jeans too. I don't think white jeans is a hot selling item here, LOL. In fact, I hardly see people wearing white jeans.
For me, I have quite a number of jeans, but I will only wear those that look fit and nice on me. So far 3 pair of jeans in my wardrobe are my favorite. some of the jeans i have are just too lose or too tight for me, only these 3 pair are the perfect one!
1. levis skinny jeans, denim blue in color. Like it so much and it was my last year birthday present, LOL. This is my first pair of skinny jeans too. It is nice to match with any tops, blouse and shirts.
2. it is a MNG straight cut jeans. I bought this jeans few years back. I wear this jeans for as a casual wear .
3. It is a Top shop black skinny jeans, my second pair of skinny ...
I wear it with some lengthen blouse .
For got when I started to wear jeans... You should add in one more question in your discussion : How often you wash your jeans?

Okay, now I get to know more about White jeans, LOL. How about a man wearing a white jeans? Have you see any man wearing white jeans?
For my jeans, I usually wash it after 2 or 3 times use. But if hapen I wear the jeans whole day, I will wash it after the long hours use. I like to wear new washed jeans because they are more fit and I get to see jeans that had been wore for a few times are getting loosen.

And those been worn regularly without wash, will be a bit loose.

So, if my jeans are too tight, then wear a couple of time first,
especially when planning for buffet

Dear vingyan,
White jeans - I called it celebrities' jeans!
Those who have perfect figures and tall will
look superb in it. Must go 'high class' area,
cannot simply sit anywhere, easily dirty!
So, whenever I see beautiful girls in white jeans,
I will try to see who is wearing...believe it or not,
they are normally models, emcee - tv host, actress and
beauty queens, they are so slim and tall!
White jeans are not sellable due to it does not fit
this important criteria : 'free spirit' whereby one can
just relax and sit anywhere...LOL. Moreover it will make
the person look fat.
So, can I asked you how often do you wash your jeans?
(Hahaha, I did think of that question, but abit sensitive.
so I only pose the question when I comment back)
Thanks and take care :)

I like grey jeans and I have one pair of white jeans and I pair of black jeans I love jeans! We can look feminine of casual with jeans, only need to pick the right tops. T-shirt for casual look and tank top or short dress for feminine look! I wear jeans anywhere, to the college, hang out with my friends, etc. I don't see the brand, I just use whatever brand that looks good on me, suit me well and made from strong and soft material. Oh, and I like pencil-model/tight jeans I started wearing jeans since since I was child, it was a mini jeans skirt,,hehehe..

Hi Iriene, I have no idea how many pairs are in the cupboard but I hope it's plenty as once it gets cold I live in them till next summer. My favourites are pale stonewash. None of them are branded but come from a Greek shop where if they have any small enough I buy a few pairs at once. This isn't a dressy type of place so jeans and boots are the cold weather gear.

Dear Thea,
By the way, what months will be cold in Greece?
So, if I did plan to visit Greece in winter or
perhaps autumn, I need to accumulate as many jeans
as possible..
You mentioned in your previous topic on 'olive oil',
it seems you are quite light about more or less 47-48 kg?
And you mentioned here if the jean size is small enough
for you. I am 47 kg, at times 48 kg too. It is quite difficult

Might be cold at the end of this month, maybe next, then its jeans until May usually, though of course the tourists think it's hot in March and go round wearing shorts. Not me, hate the cold.
I find jeans too big or too long and hate turning them up, I had to adapt to some of those hipsters as no choice but used to them now. We must be the same size Iriene.

I'm not really particular with a brand, as long as it fits good, and the length is okay, then I'll take it. and not to mention the price.hehehe. no overpriced jeans for me.

That's so true, jeans are so versatile.. My problem with jeans is that I am tall, so almost all of the time, when I try on jeans, the fit is okay, but the length would be too short.. to bad I cannot adjust it anymore.

Dear Ingkingderders,
Your views are very practical. I like it
'As long as it fits good, and the length is okay, then take it'.
I too find some difficulty in finding a suitable jeans.
My leg is not long enough. At times I have to fold the end!
It don't look good once folded up, and easily dirty. There
was once I nearly fall down due to my high heels stuck on
the folded ends. Then I decided to cut it off myself and
hand sew the end at the bottom..
One advantages about jeans is that it is versatile and easy
to match with any top~ t-shirts, blouse, shirts etc.
And it is durable too. Thanks for sharing & have a great day!
Thanks and have a great day...do keep in touch!

Hi, i love to wear jeans and i have nearly 3 pairs of that. Its very comfortable to wear that and i look good and smart in jeans than any other fabrics. Black is a very dark color and attracts sunlight and heat very soon. so i don't prefer that. i have blue , dark blue, Grey ma favorite and dark green. I always prefer branded jeans like Lee and New port. I love to always except rainy season and night. I started wearing jeans at the age of 8. good discussion and happy lotting..

I find jeans are very versatile especially when travelling.
It is easy to match too. I can wear it with t-shirt, blouse,
shirts or any top! It is durable, long lasting and will never
out of fashion :)
Wow, you start wearing jeans at an early age too. That's great!
It seems from the responses that I received in this topic, many
myLotters have Lee jeans. I believe Lee have comfortable and
good quality jeans!
Thanks for sharing, do keep in touch!

I like to wear jeans because I can keep it on longer. They are good for travelling because they don't get dirty very quickly (except the white ones). I like faded blue jeans the best because they go with any color of shirts that I put on. Black looks very nice as well. I have about 8 pairs of jeans (Levi's, Lee and some other unbranded ones). I have black and faded blue jeans. I used to have more when I was younger (started wearing them when I was 12) but now I get a good mix of jeans, trousers and pants in cotton amongst my wardrobe.

Dear involved,
Glad to see you reached the 500th post. Great job
This means you can use the 'copy & paste' features already!
I bought my jeans in the mall. I need it to travel to Korea
during winter. Then I borrowed another black jeans from my
sister. I like to wear jeans, comfortable and convenient
too. Very versatile, can match with any top (like t-shirt,
blouse or shirts)! So, I bought the second jeans when I plan
to go to Eastern Europe the following month. Since then, whenever
I go out, I will automatically wear my jeans...
Thanks, hope to hear your views on my other topic too!
