My first days of college were a little hard ........ Because I went to a college in Trichy in tamil Nadu .. There my main problem was their language-Tamil and I am a Malayali as I am from Kerala . The first days were horrible because I had to use sign language to even strangers now that was funny. But now it is much better because I have learnt Tamil from a book. The food was another problem but now it is much better because i got used to it too.
Now I am enjoying most of if and making good use of my college.I even started going for trips with friends even at the first week of my college.I will really miss my college if I go away.

My first day in college was fun.I still remember the day I entered the college gate, my cousins and few of their friends waiting for me outside the gate.Of course they were seniors. Most of my good friends took admission in the same college, so I didn't have much problem adjusting to the new environment except the classroom atmosphere.I made lots of friends, I still miss them very much and cherish the moments we had spent together.Few of them still calls and write to me but many have lost touch. Thanks for the post, good day!

When I was gone to college, it's not that hard for me because I went ahead and made some friends. After a week, I am enjoying my college life. But it was difficult also because of new things. New classmates, new teachers, new school, new classrooms, new time, and of course new clothes for many of my classmates. My first day in general is good and enjoyable.

Your dsicussion made me think about the first day of my colleage which happened around 10 years ago. I was very happy to join the college. I had a few friends who joined the college from my school. So, I was not worried about my class mates. We were asked to assemble in an auditorium for a meeting in the first half of the day. After that we assembled in the class and I found many of my friends were in the class.

My firstday of college was very nice. Our lecturers were very nice. We were pleasantly welcomed by our lecturers and principal. We were introduced about the rules and descipline of the college. Some of my school friends joined in the same college, so I got friends from the starting day itself. I really enjoyed first day of my college.

My first day of college was actually pretty good.
The college I finished wasn't my first choice, it was more of a back-up in case I don't enter the one I wanted...
It turned out I didn't enter my first option (Geography college) and I ended up with the back-up (Geology college). My first day of college was pretty good because the first ever class - Physical geology - was very inspiring, and brushed away the sadness from not entering the college I wanted. Now, after finishing the college and the master classes, I don't regret one bit the way things ended up.

I use to dream during my school days like college would be like, what we see in movies, but later on i reliased that all colleges are not like what we have seen cinema. my first expreince was shocking, on college first day i felt as if am sitting in my 4th std. Man was completly disappointed. Later on tried to change myself to suit the atmosphere.... any way, my expreince was not good... school always rocks!!!!

When I started going to college I was both happy and unhappy. I was unhappy because I wasn't able to study psychology, I had applied, but they only needed 200 people and 2000 people were interested in studying psychology. They didn't pick me, so I had to study another subject. I chose German instead and I tried to look at the situation from a positive point of view even though I was still kind of disappointed.
One the first day we all met and we went to have coffee and breakfast together. It was exciting, but also pretty confusing, because there were so many new people and I didn't know anyone yet. I thought that all of the students would be Danes, but that wasn't the case, there were a few Germans and a girl from Turkey in our class and that made me happy, because I think it is nice to meet people from other countries. The Turkish girl and I became friends and we made a kind of studygroup.

I hate first days, always not knowing anyone and sitting there thinking what will happen next. After a few days/weeks the class is organized and people find their "groups" where they belong ^^

Education is very important in our life, with out education we cannot have a good knowledge in our life.My first day of college is very good and pretty, teaching is very good and i have joined college with my best choice.College first day is very horrible due to language problem in my state later i can know all the languages. In countries and states different languages can be teached so we have to know language by reading and writing in our Education life.

first day of college? Wow mine was memorable and funny. So let me start, As i walk in the campus im looking around if i ever gonna see friends or schoolmates and i never see anyone So i prefred to be alone that time. I also asked questions to anyone. When i found my room. I saw my classmates, and i looked to cute boys first.=) and then i greet them, asking their names, if we are in the same rooms. blah blah blah. I am not a silent type actually im very friendly. So yeah, the class start and its kinda boring because my classmates were look like whatever, maybe it's my impression to them. So yeah, but now it changed i know my classmates better than before as we always together. but there are still some that im not interested to.

Wow, what a great experience of yours! Well, chatting about first day of college just takes me back to the time when I was completely alone, didn't know even someone and tried very hard to communicate with other whose background is different from mine. The beginning of college is always the right time for us to make new friends, discover the new world and community as well. It is great by the way.
