How many times have you tried to quit smoking?

I smoke a little less than a pack a day but can't seem to quit. I have tried the gum, cold turkey, and Chantix. How many times have you guys to quit and how many of you have been successful with anything????? I want to quit, but then something stressful happens in my life and I am right back to it.
