OMG, I fell asleep last night with the TV on. When I woke up, Late night with Jimmy Fallon was on and I saw Christopher Cross singing. OMG I just up out of my bed and started dancing. I don't know why his song Ride like the Wind is still popular with me all these many years later. And it was really good to see Michael McDonald come out also. What a fun show that was last night. Is there any groups/artists that can make you get up from a dead sleep and dance? Chicago is another one of mine.

I loved Christopher Cross also and my fave song of his is Think of Laura. There's no particular artist or groups that make me get up from sleep and dance, only songs. Dance songs like "Place on Earth", "Boys do fall in love", "Beat it", "Telephone", "Touch and in the Night" made me giddy and dance.

That's so funny! My friends laugh at me that I like Christopher Cross' "Ride Like the Wind" song. That was very early 80's right? When I was a kid, that song meant a lot to me as I was alone a lot, and rode my bike or skateboard - and I thought of that song so I could feel like I was riding like the wind. As an adult, I loved it as a workout song - a motivating song - it felt like a song that led you somewhere ahead. I actually have a wide variety of music tastes - and a lot of it is based on danceability (I also come from a figure skating background). Some of the ones I can think of off the top of my head: "Don Quichotte" - Magazine 60 "Set You Free" - Planet Soul "White Lines" - Grandmaster Flash "Goody Two Shoes" - Adam Ant "Freakazoid" - Midnight Star "Turn to You" - GoGo's And the list goes on . . . . . . . .
