Too much censur in youtube

Do you remember the old days when youtube became popular because of homemade videos and remixes? Today a lot of these videos are censored by big labels because some edited funny videos use copyrighted songs etc.
Don't you wish that it could be like before? I'm really hoping that TheVideoBay, latest project by ThePirateBay can improve the site and release it out of beta soon. Uncensored youtube would be so nice and thevideobay use the latest technology etc.

It used to be nice, but I think that because of their continuous success and getting more popularity and visits from people of all ages they started to do things the "right way" sort of speak.
Age restrictions for some videos, protected copyrighted material, etc. but anyways, the internet it's still a sea of information, I don't rely just on Youtube for whatever it is I'm looking for.

Well, you get the point, if it's called remixing, tampering, editing, doing whatever that is considered "prohibited" they found a limit.
And I'm just guessing, what would've happened if they would just let go and let all sort of videos to be posted?
Like I said, looks like they're focusing to a specific group, whatever that is has boundaries.
Regardless, looks like they're doing ok ... ;)

But at the end they're doing what's working better for the company.
Even if all of a sudden thousand of sites emulate the concept, people (I include myself) would continue visiting Youtube, because even with all the new concepts, censorship, etc ... it's Youtube

The best for the company would be to not censor homemade videos becuase these can get million of views.
But youtube is very controlled so they would probably censor it anyway. TheVideoBay will be a lot like thepiratebay where they will remove content only if it's in the wrong group and there will probably be mods like on TPB that will take care of these categories.

it is a shame to youtube to deleted so many funny and/or interesting videos, but with the copyright and stuff, there is no much to do. you tube had to chosse between deleting those videos or get in problems just for those copyright.
the one that is a true shame is the ones youtube deleted because some important people ask tçhim to deleted them just because the video talk bad about them or something that affect them.
they should know that when something got on internet there is no way to deleted it soo they just let them be there, it will be there anyways, to many web pages for it to disappear of internet completly.
