I have 6 grandchildren my oldest is 9 his name is michael. his sisters are autumn and skye. My other daughter has 3 children as well Gabrielle, Penelope and Lance.. One day my grandson was at school and he got into a discussion with his teacher about a play that he was going to be in and while they were talking michael started telling him a story that his sisters and cousins and him all did... his teacher stopped him and said WHOA your sisters names are Autumn and Skye? Well why the heck isnt your name Moon or earth?!!!?! I guess the conversation was left at that.. michael not knowing what his teacher meant asked me.. I ASSUMED it was because he had such a common name and his sisters had "earth" related names... would this be your assumption as well?

Of course, she was merely kidding I'm sure, sometimes children feel threatned when adults make comments that they don't understand, even though that no harm was meant...

That's what I would think. I do love the names of your granddaughters, though. My neice wants her kids to have unique names. Whe was going to name a baby Clover if it was a girl. Unfortunately, she miscarried, so she never got to officially name the baby. I love cool names like that!
