I was wondering if someone could explain these ideas to me. I have read the book looked it up online and I think I need better lesson of it. I am looking for the relationship of the atomic weight to the molar mass. Can I also get an example of how it works.

you know that
6.022*10^23 atoms/molecules = 1 mole = Molar mass of atom/molecule
in case of carbon:
6.022*10^23 atoms = 12 grams
1 atom = 12/6.022*10^23 grams
this is the weight of 1 atom of carbon
