Hi guys. I've just thought of this question last night as I go to bed. I was used to sleeping with my sister in one room, but last night, I had no choice but to sleep alone since I went in a party and had to sleep in a hotel. I haven't gotten enough sleep. I think I slept at around 2am already. I'm not afraid sleeping alone but I'm just not used to it. How about you? Does sleeping alone bother you?

This is the reason why since I started sleeping alone, I have avoided watching scary movies. Well, unless it is the SCARY MOVIE movies. I've got a very wide imagination so I stopped watching horror or thriller movies.

i slept with my mom till i was about 12 and i finally got my son out of my bed at 9 yrs old, i had to just keep moving his mat a little further out of my room near the door, in the hall, outside his room.... i know it is sooo hard but once you made it through your first night you will be asking yourself what you were so scared of! lots of luck

Hi, reco13. Yes, I am afraid to sleep alone right now. When I get older, I will not be too afraid. I like for my kids to be in the bed with me. Besides they don't like sleeping alone in their rooms sometimes. I don't think that I will get used to sleeping alone either.

I have a really hard time sleeping alone. Its like I get used to hearing someone else making noises while they sleep and their sleeping patterns. Its just like I can't sleep without my husbands snoring. I'm the same way as you, I'm not afraid to sleep alone, I just feel lonely!

i sleep alone because my bed is a single type bed hehehe. but sometimes i go to my mother's room to sleep because it is air conditioned. but most of the time i sleep alone in bed and alone in the room except for my dog, she sleeps under my bed or at the foot of my bed...

For my whole experience living in the earth, well I don't sleep along it just because in our house we do not have our own room but even we have our own rooms we share the same room, me and my brother we share the same room.
My answer to your question is that it does not bother me sleeping alone, its alright with me.

yes i can, i live alone so of course i can manage to sleep alone. even if my neighbors told me that they saw ghost around specially the kitchen and living room. well, i dont bother to care even if my room is just right next to living room and kitchen. though sometimes i heard a loud knock from the hidden door inside my room. i still dont bother to scare.

hi reco13 you are not comfortable with the place and you are relaxed the whole day and you are being in a sense that you have not slept because there is no one with you.....this is what i think happened for you that day...i have no problem for my sleep except at an new place ,that also only if i get disturbed ....i regularly have a pleasant sleep un till and unless some one disturbs me

sleeping alone for me is not a problem. but if i sleep in a new place i will not get sleep due to which the next day will be uneasy for me. I sleep alone in my room ,as i sleep in late nights in order not to disturb my family members from their sleep.

No, sleeping alone doesn't bother me, but it's almost always better with someone else! I think that you are subconsciously scared about sleeping alone but it also could have been that you were in a new place completely alone from anybody that you knew. You should try sleeping alone in a familiar place and start to narrow down the reasons why you couldn't sleep. And if it is because you're sister isn't in the room, you should start to ween yourself away from that.

I can sleep alone it doesn't bother me in fact it can be really nice to spread out all over the bed. But it has been quite some time since I have slept alone. My husband sleeps in the bed most nights, when he doesn't sleep there my 5 year old crawls in with me. Sometimes both of them are in there sleeping and there are three of us in there. But I have never had trouble sleeping alone.

I can easily fall asleep alone than with an annoying bed mate but I can't sleep without my favorite bolster pillow. I had this experience when I came back to the place where we stay for our in-house review without my pillow. I didn't get my much needed sleep right at the night before our board exams. Pfff. thanks for that coffee
