Hello friends we had a horrible situation last night that could have wipe us out in our village. This is due to poor installation of electric and communication cables shared on one post. We had a windy weather this past few days even today. Every time wind blows hanging cables start rubbing each other until insulated cables faded and live current from electric cable and communication cable got tangled that causes a blaze that almost burnt as all in our village...
This is due to poor management of installing live cables together with the communication cables. The result? Right now we don't have communication from our outside community...this is worst.. What if there would be another emergency happen? Where do we gonna call..?
Is this also happening in your place?
Let's talk about it...

Well, I'd start by calling the government. I'm not sure where you are, but I'm guessing that there is one. The other option is if you know the name of the electric company that runs things, look them up and give them a call. It certainly won't be good for business if the village burns down!
Another option is, if by communication cable you mean phone line, then you could call the company that runs that. If all else fails, go to the head of your village/mayor. If they can't get anything done, then go to the next government branch above that, etc. Someone HAS to know who can fix this problem.

Hello Pixieelf thanks for the concern. I think it was not only me who's complaining about that problem. Besides that's already they system they did, the cable and the electric company. The system was already there even long before. A hazard to their constituents....thanks for responding...

hello mobhomeir,
That's terrible, that would you guys trouble in getting helped. same goes with electrical cables. i believe when this is all over the government should propose a plan for almost every thing on underground; cables on cabletv, internet, phone and specifically electricity, so that no one's gona be harmed in these cables. hope they didn't shut you guys down with your electricity

That's absolutely amazing. If anything like this were to ever happen here in North America, the person who installed the wiring would be charged with some kind of crime, and sued for every penny they have. This kind of lapse in safety would not be tolerated here in Canada or in the USA,

This is a very terrible thing. I think that should be in your place of residence that can be purchased with satellite communications equipment.
Some generators, fire extinguishers and so on.
This canmake a good defensive mesasure.
God bless you.

Yeah my friend that was a good idea. I think our village's association could not afford to have it because it would cost so much. Maybe sooner time will come we could have our own...thanks for responding...

That is a very dangerous situation. I don't really know what to say about this. I'm not sure how things are done there as far as authority goes but I suppose I would gather the village to express concerns to whoever was in charge of these things.

It sounds terrible. I can imagine how it would feel to be cut off from the world in effect. Not to mention the situation sounds very dangerous. Maybe you can get however put the lines up to put them on another pole or something away from the other wires. Is there any government office that you can appeal to? Someone should do something. You and your whole village are victims thru no fault of your own, an accident waiting to happen as they say.

I think, my friend, our government knew this already because this is always been a problem here. They would just keep on "passing the bucket" whenever worst happened as a result of this being done by the concern companies...thanks for responding...

Oh wow, this is the first. Luckily everyone is fine. Why don't you make a police report or anything. We can sue the person responsible for the wiring if something like that happen but I don't how the system work there. So it's best by making police report, things can go on from there.

Hello princy this case is never new to their ears. It is always been like this. When this incidents takes lives they would just keep on "passing the bucket" pointing whose to blame...
This is always the case and would never be changed because our government system is corrupt. Though they know that it should not be because it could violate the safety standard, they would just permit it cause of the money given to them by the company owner...corrupt system of our government is the cancer of our society....thanks for your reply...

Hello Martin,
That's really dangerous especially when it happens at night and everyone is sleeping.
The constant rubbing will cause live wires to sparks and would probably caused fire.(gosh)
Well, the first thing to do is,report the problem to your electric company.
Here in Manila,i am thankful that Meralco were very much alert with this kind of problem. One call will make them rush to the said place and would do the repair needed immediately.
This case shouldn't be ignored my friend,do the possible solution, get help and make sure everything will be fine the soonest possible time.
Take care also,whew...i hope to see your follow up discussion regarding this matter so soon.
