30 years ago, computers are as big as 1 bedroom. A lot of people were thinking that it was actually impossible. By the year 1990's e have desktops (that uses microsoft operating systems), reduced to become laptops. Cellphones made smaller and as handy as it can be.
And now? For sure you have heard of nanotechnology. It is actually the study of the control of matter and atoms that are as small as 1 x 10 E -9! And even using 100 times smaller than that! It will actually be used in the field of electronics, medicine, energy production and more. But What do you think will these products look like? Or how small will it be?

Computer will be more smaller in the future, I imagine it will be same as thick paper size. I think possible change in every generation of technology, atom to be nano and can be nano to be pico. In one IC have million transistor and scientists find a way to compress the size.

20 years from now, we might not be restricted with a monitor or a computer body anymore. Holographic technology may be advance enough, such that a computer is only the size of a thumbdrive and a screen and keyboard can be projected onto any surface. The very definition of computer will change in the future.

Computers will become much more small 20 years from now. It is the tendency to reduce the size of computers. With the development of computer technology, more and more smaller computers will appear. We call them micro computers. It is also the need of more people. People want to carry a pocket computer to go around. They hate big ones.

I think computer will be much more smaller in size with all capabilities now have and much much more. May be it is going to be smaller than Iphone.. They will do more things faster with less errors. The disk space will not be a big matter, because it will be really huge. Everything will be inbuilt and compact and everything will be paperless and wireless.
