Todays Question: How Important Is Money In Your Life Today?

Money is way up high in my list. My mom told me that it's better to be miserable with money because you can go to the spa and make yourself beautiful than be miserable without money. :-) I mean, you can actually do almost anything and be independent, without answering to anyone. For a relationship with me to work, a guy has to have his own money. Because i have my own and i don't intend to share. Heheheh. I work hard for it.

Although money is important for survival it's not the only thing in the world. In today's world, it's just hard to make money last for some and for others there's just an endless supply. People have either no money to make ends meet (like me where as now there is NO income for my little family) and others who have more money then they know what to do with. I want to feel angry at those people, but I just can't because their spending and earning is what helps this economy and hopefully help the lesser people down the line. I lived on a day to day, paycheck to paycheck life, unfortunately my husband was placed on disability (unpaid) because of his restrictions on him from his doctor. Although I feel it is important for him to have an income as he is the only who can make one (I am a homemakers with 2 small children and 2 small nephews to watch), but again I worry more about his health and put more importance on that and of course I value his life more then money. I money mattered more to me, then I would be more materialistic which I'm not, we've been living with a low income for about 8 years, but we've been happy. I would feel less stressed if I didn't have worry about rent, clothes, food and education and we has a dispensable income so I could give my kids things that would make them happy, but we just don't and I either have to work harder to get that or just deal with it. At an early age I learned that money isn't everything, but it does make the world go 'round. I grew up in a middle class home and while in high school I knew my parents didn't have much means to give me everything I wanted, so I learned to sacrifice and earn my way where I could, I figured out ways to be happy with less and I think people should start thinking this way (to at least save what they have). Money is what helps us live, but it is not our lives.

Sorry but I am not one of the "all" you are referring to. I do NOT LOVE money. IMO it is just a necessity of life. I save my "love" for living beings and that includes my pets.

well, I don't think I would be alive today if I don't have any money. LOL. Well, I do believe money is important, specially in our life today, though we have to be careful not to be ruled by it. I think having a lot of money is really great, but not to a point where you sell your soul to the guy with horns and a tail. hahaha.

Well, we need money for the things that we need and the things that we want, but money is overrated. I need money to pay my bills, to get my baby´s food and such, to pay my utilities, but I dont love money. Gosh if it were me I would want to strip myself from it and live in a cave or something. I aint saying that if you dont have tons of money it wont make you happy here, but money doesnt buy everything. Its important for the roof.. and thats it. With 5000 for now Id be ok.

Money is very important to life. All activities need money. Everyday I go to work early morning and go home late night because find some money. My sons lonely in my home because I find money

smsky2009 well lets see I have to pay my rent here at Gold Crest, I have to pay my board and my social security and ssi checks cover it leaving me with one hundred twenty five dollars for anything else like cosmetics, clothes etc I may need, my insurance pays most of my prescription costs and all of my doctors bills. so am not too bad off but sure would like some extra that is why I am mylotting. but could always use more.[em]

i am not sure how important in my life one week ago..then i lost my wallet all bank cards are there.. and without money really helpless.. i cant even buy food ..cant go outside bcz no coin to take bus.. then i know how important money to me.. it means basic life in the city..without money u cant do anything heeh

hello smsky! i like money, yeah, but i don't love it...huh! there's still many things in this world that money can't buy, i guess...and i still love my family more... money is important yes, it brings some happiness to us, with money we can buy anything we want, all the things that we need...i wish i have lots of money! hehe\ but anyway, i don't really need much money, i just need enough to buy me my daily needs and to provide something for my family... i just buy what i need and not all that i want...

Well money is important not only for roaming around world + completing your dreams come true.....but in india now while marrying a boy also people seem to be interested in money which he have( or his family has).But everyhting has +ves as well as -ves...so money is important but not more important than life...because if you huge amount of money then also you may enjoy a lot but you will always worry abt it...

hello again smsky, We are all trapped by this thing(money), no matter how we try to get away from it. Money this days is so important because with out it how can you pay utility bills like electricity,water,phone and internet..and not to mention cable. people are doing their best to survive and now they're doing it also online that some times i can't help get upset if i stupidly spend some thing online and then regrets if later on. if am gonna give up money i might as well give up every thing and just do farming instead.

Money seems to be what makes the world go round these days, we cant get anything without money, we give a company our time and they give us money. money is important to me because i need it to pay for my school and transportation, i dont want to be working at a fast food joint my whole life. i do wish though we could get things with out movey like a differnt kind of exchange system, like trade in the old get something new, something like that, but i will never happy the world would not be able to handle it. Money is very very important in everydays life. Without this nothing moves. Start from the morning,you always think of money only. After you get,unless you have tea at your home,you cant start your day. So you need money to buy tea. After tea,you have to send your child to school, you need money for that too. Why are you sending him/her, that also because of money. Like that you need money in every sphere of our Life so that you can live. Think about anything, be it medical check up, or education, or buying day to day food, etc. Everywhere you need money. So from starting of day to the end of day, you only think of money, and how to earn the money is also our responsibility. So you can understand that How is Money Important in our Life.

Actually, I am a newly registered user in this site so I feel astonished on how to answer or to comment your question...hehehe As a practical person, money is really important in my life because, few months ago when i was seeking for a job, I consumed lots of money and credits... I almost got discourage!!! And now, I'm very happy because I have my stable job. But still working and striving - just to earn MONEY!

It's pretty important to us, but I'd bet it would be less important if we had more of it! Right now we're in debt, so I am trying to accumulate as much money as possible to pay it all off. This means that I have to work all of the time and we cannot buy things we'd like. Once we get out of debt, I won't have to work as much.

Money is important to us to pay the bills and buy food, once they are all done being paid, we have a little left over to have some fun. As long s the bills are paid, I'm happy because then I'm not thinking that something is going to get cut off or we're going to get letters from people trying to take us to court.

There is a saying in our country, "money is not everything, but without money you can do nothing". Do you know this saything? As for me, money is very important, and now I am working hard to earn some extra money, with moeny, we can enjoy a better, comfortable life. with money, I can buy nice toys and decilious food for my kid...

I have always wanted to be rich. I want to live a life filled with luxuries. I want to be the envy of others.In my opinion, wealth is something that could buy a lot of things. Money can bring you happiness. However, I do not deny that there are many things that money cannot buy. In fact, I believe that there are other more important things in life than money. I believe that money can buy many luxuries. However, I feel that health is still the most important. I would rather be healthy than wealthy. If you are rich but do not have the health to enjoy spending your money, then money is truly useless. This is common sense. Thus, in order to be happy, a person has to be healthy and wealthy.
