Many taking advantage of the situation. The prices of vegetables are expensive especially that came from Baguio like cabbage, carrots and baguio beans. Northen Luzon is most affected of the typhoon many crops their destroyed. That's why others want to over price their goods to earn more despite others are suffering.

Hi there cutepink, you know, these people who take undue advantage of the calamity crisis brought about by typhoon Ondoy and Peping, have been emboldened of doing what they are accustomed to do as they knew that the authorities are pre-occupied with more urgent matters and situation that they cannot focus yet on those unscrupulous businessmen who diddle on the weak. The people also would just buy the things they need without bothering to check if the prices of the commodities have climbed up extraordinarily because they have to priorities their time, and the least they would pay attention to is to engage in an argument against anybody on the sudden increase of the prices. You see, in this life, once you tend to be complacent to the people around you, the tendency is you will be taken advantage of.

We cannot avoid abusive people because we were born sinners. Those people are business minded over people's grief. They do not mind others' needs but only for themselves. They take all the chances to earn whatever it takes irregardless of the situation. That kind of people are greedy and selfish.
