Hours a Day for the Computer!!

i use 4-5h a in a day.

...Hi tinsky, Welcome to the ranch. Have fun. I must admit, l have been spending a lot of time in front of my computer. I think it is becoming a mild addiction. I do like being on the internet, and fooling around. Either writing or doing surveys, chatting or researching. It is very interesting, the different things you can do. So far my electric bill is not too high. I am on my computer at least 6-8 hours a day. Take it easy.

I think it is depend on the person that how many hours he wanted to sitting infront of a computer.. i am also sitting infront of computer 4-5 hours daily.. i think..there is no harm if your computer open for whole day..but it affects on your eyes..if you not protect them with glasaes..

I alone uses the system maximum six hours of the day daily,so to gain knowledge and also learn about knowledge..

8 hours at office 4 hours at home.

Hi friend, Using computer for hours continuously not only harmful for your wallet but your health as well.

I dunno how many hours exactly I use my PC. maybe 7-10hrs a day. Sometimes I leave my PC on whenever I have to do something, Like going out for a while or doing house chores. but still, there's a time that I don't turn on my PC. but that's only 3-5% ^_^ hahaha happy mylotting ^_~

Hey tinsky, i use my computer when i feel comfort and free at my home and when i anm in office then i don't use the computer, bcoz, then the computer uses me, i mean, at office i feel that i am not a man, i am just a machine and the computer is alive to lead me. you get na.....what i mean. thanks and take care. LOL

I try and limit it, but it ends up being at least 6 hours a day. My mom used to limit me to one hour a day when I used to live at home. But now it's necessary for me, both for education and my job. I don't think in the future parents will limit their kids on how many hours a day they can go on the computer.

I'm online in at least 12 hours. But I notice that my computer usage is getting lesser. I don't know why. Perhaps I'm just exhausted of some things.

I use a computer nearly 13 hours a day. I started using computer in the office about 10 hours plus 3 hours at home. I’m also not thought to be in front of the computer for that long. I use the computer mainly for internet and other office duties. Sometimes once I use my computer to play games but it only during the weekend.

normally during office hours i face my computer for about 10-14 hours. after work i play games or watch movies on my pc for 1-2 hours.

I usually use my laptop more than 10h/d in weekend.Just for downloading some PC games I wanna have a try.What a pity,my machine can't satisify SIM3......

I recently sold my computer so all i can really do is go to the library and this e-center im currently at. The bad part is that i have to walk to these places.

3/7 not so much time because Im busy doin my business although doing some computer activities is just my daily past time.

I use computer only for 3-4 hours a day. It's because i don't really have much time being spend online, as i devoted most of my time to my offline work. I only go online when i am able to free a few hours from my offline work. Only when i am online, then i will visit all my online sites, including mylot. Because of that, i prefer only do replying to discussions in mylot, as it's easier to me....

i spend about a hour in computer.i also use internet and other stuffs that adds to my usage.i do study mailny technology in internet.Today without computer the world is zero.We also have a lot of earning oppurtuinities through computer.The internet has made world a global village.Please do comment on my thought.Using computer has turned the world a great place which is my strong beleif...

yeah even il spend more time in net...morning and nite 2-3hrs at home itself...even ma electricity got raised now so ma mom wil be scolding me always but wat to i lik to sit in front of computer wenever i am free...

I am on my computer all day, and I also experience the same problem with a high internet bill. I rely mostly on my laptop to keep myself entertained, I cannot afford a tv yet and being new to the area I have no friends, so the laptop fills in that hole, haha. Also, I am in a long distance relationship with someone who lives abroad, so skype is our primary means of communication, and we talk for HOURS on end.
