Hi, everyone. Here is a question for you, have you ever felt old? Here lately I cannot escape feeling old. Im only 21 but I feel llike my mind and spirit are 100 years old. I cannot understand why. Its really atking a toll on me. I dont feel happy or energized like I used to, I feel like im constantly winding myself up to get through the day. Has anyone else ever felt this way? If so, what did you do about it?

I understand how you feel. Sometimes you just feel miles older than your years. I think it's usually a combination of being a sensitive person and also experiencing a lot too young.
I've often felt like I'm old inside my skin, I went through so much trauma already.
I think you'll be surprised at what there still is to learn and experience though.
It sounds like you're suffering from depression. Have you spoken to a loved one or a doctor about anything that you are feeling?

Yes, i have tried talking with my boyfriend but he doesnt really understand. I thought about talking with a doctor but am afraid that they will think that I am a baby. Besides I dont want to take up their time being a cry baby.

You're not a crybaby. Your feelings are real and you shouldn't belittle them. I spent a long time learning that the hard way. If you need help then there are people in place to help you, but you have to seek that help out. If you're really struggling then you shouldn't just hide your feelings away and end up feeling alone with them. I hope you find someone to talk to. x

I understand how you feel... I have experienced that feeling... Maybe you are just bored? Or maybe you just need to relax or go somewhere to make you feel better. Remember that the mind is really powerful, try not to think that way... Think positive. I hope you'll get through it. Happy myLotting :)

Hi Amanda,
I can understand your feeling.
As ages are catching up, we might have a feeling that we are getting old.
Not shy to tell you that I am in the midst of thirties,so Am I also Old now?
For me, although my age is catching up,but in my heart, I always stay young.
In order to look younger, you must choose the right dress/shirt to wear, put on some make up, do the most suitable hairstyle that suit for face and not to forget to keep a smile on your lips.

Mentally, no. I try to keep my mind focused on all the fun and happiness of being youthful. It helps me keep a good relationship with my kids. But physically is a whole other story. All of my aches and pains make me feels ancient! At 29, I think I may already be getting arthiritis. My fingers, knees, shoulders, and so on ache so bad! Especially when the weather turns cold. I have horrible back pain, migraines, and stiff joints so often I feel like dying! At these times, I tell my husband, who is 9 1/2 years older than me that I am getting old. It's quite funny, actually. But, I know that I am truely still young. Especially at heart. What you do is keep your mind tuned in to the youthful side of yourself. Be a kid again. Laugh, love, and enjoy life. That's what works for me.
