This is not an accolade I throw around willy nilly but if ever there is one person deserving of that accolade ,it would be my sister .I have never met anyone so sweet, I know she is not a perfect person but I think she comes as close as anyone I have ever known and probably will ever know. I am talking about a girl who is twelve years my junior but everyday she teaches me lessons in humility ,compassion ,forgiveness amongst several other wonderful traits .Sometimes I look at her and I wonder how did someone so sweet ever come to be apart of this mean and cold world and there are even instances where I wonder if she wont be the victim of some awful human who will prey upon her sweetness, believe me I really worry for her sometimes. She is the kind of person who is trustworthy and I cant think of a time when she has lied to me and I would wholeheartedly trust every word she says. She is the kind of person who rarely gets angry and even if she does it never lasts and even if she is angry and you ask her for a favor she will still do it .In addition she is the kind of person who you would like to have around if you are in a bind and boy have I been bailed out of several binds by her. Another thing that amazes me about my sister is that everyone she comes across speaks well of her .Right now she is staying at family of my mother's and they have nothing but praise in fact she is treated as a member of the family I could go on and on about her but I would like to pause here and invite others to speak of their sisters and hopefully the relationship with theirs is as good as I have with mine but even if its bad I would still like to hear provided it wont make you throw a fit and burst a vein

HI RONNYB, wHAT A SWEETIE U ARE TO WRITE SUCH A LOVELY DISCUSSION ABOUT YOUR SISTER. U are indeed very fortunate to have her but she is indeed fortunate to have u to. There are so many men that would not write about someone they loved so much & u are a good guy to do that. I hope she gets to read what u have written, it will make her day, believe me. my sister was killed in a car accident when she was 17 & i was 19. We were very close & of course very close in age. She was my very best friend, a lovely & smart girl & it is the worse thing i have ever had happen to me when i lost her. I still miss her to this day altho she was killed in 1962. Don't let this bother u because i still love to talk about her. Her name was kathy. U take good care of yours & cherish every minute u have w/her.

I wasn't wondering at all because I know that if your sister is among the four people you love the most then she too like mine must be a special person and I am alwyas happy to hear about special people Like I said it seem that age is not a factor for wisdom and I can see that you have found that too.I really hope that teh relationship with your sister continues to blossom and thank you for taking the time out to respond and read my discussion.Thank you also for your kind words because this discussion is really special to me

I have one brother that we both have the same parents, I have 2 brothers that have the same Mom but different dads, and a brother and sister that have the same Dad but different mom. My half sister is from my Dad's second marriage and we really don't get along. I guess it's b/c we don't know each other. I lived with my Dad for about 3 years when she was a baby and again for about a year when she was like 10. Other than that, we don't keep in touch. She blames me for a lot of things and I just moved on with my life. I guess not all sisters are close but it's nice to know some are. !!Happy Halloween!! ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

You're blessed to have a sister like her and your sister herself is blessed for being such a kindhearted lady. I'm sure God is pleased with her and she has won God's favor. Well I have 3 sisters. Two are older than I am and the other one is our youngest. They are all good and we are maintaining sweet relationship with each other. Unlike other siblings we don't have conflicts. When we were children yet, we do quarrel a lot but as we grow older and mature we learned how to love more and understand more. And as we each build a family of our own we developed healthier and sweeter relationships. We help each other and support each other in every way possible whether it be monetary or otherwise. I love all my sisters and I think I too am blessed to have good sisters.

Hi ronny I dont have a sister never knew what that was like. I was always glad of that lol. But i do have 2 children and very far apart in age. the boy is almost eight and the baby girl is just born. I have often wondered how they might get along being so much apart in age. I find encouragement in your words of your younger sister thank you.

I hope your sister gets to read all the nice things you wrote about her, that is really sweet! My sister is a lot younger than I am, fifteen years in fact but when we are together the age difference is irrelevant and it’s made more so by the fact that we both have seven year old daughters who were born 12 days apart; tell you what...Did not plan that one! My sister and I came from a very dysfunctional and emotionally abusive background and we relate with each other very well on that score. No one else in my life, including my husband can appreciate what my sister and I went through and I thank God every day that she is in my life. She is also a very kind and giving woman who should give herself way more credit than she does. She went through her ‘dark’ period and we even lost touch for a while because she wasn’t talking to many people but she is over all that now and we share a friendship that I am so very grateful for!

Hello my friend ronnyb Ji, It is very lovely description of your sister. In our culture, 'sister' relation is considered as most pious relation among all relationships. You may listen same opening sentence by great Indian Philospher even today Swami Vivekananda, when he addressed during Chicago confrence and addressed them as, 'SISTERS AND BROTHERS OF AMERICA'. Upon this total silence was felt as he brought all Ladies very close to him. We have a festival every year to mark this relationship known as 'RAKSHA-BANDHAN'. Where every brother gives assuerance to his sister to take care of her. Similarly, you too should take care of her. May God bless You and have a great time.

The love you feel for your sister actually emanates from every word you write about her. I am an only child so I’ll never know the feelings of having a kid sister but yes, most big brothers feel exactly the same way about their kid sisters and the sisters in turn would do anything for approval from the elder brother. Its nice that your sister has such lovely disposition and everybody around her loves her…here’s hoping she’s surrounded by love and trust throughout her life. People who are by nature so good and kind are often misused by the world…but you are there for her…big brother…keep it up both of you!

It is nice to hear that you have got a good sister. I also have a sister and I love her only because she is my sibling. All her activities and her intersts are different from me. Her taste is completely different from mine. Most of the times her activities makes me angry or irritated, but I am still talking to her only because she is my sibling and she doesn't have anybody to help in case of problems.

What a sweet sentiment ronnyb. I love my sister. We are very different in our personalities and I have likely done more for her than she has ever done for me. I still love her dearly. My sister is very honest and hardworking. She does tend to be a little unemotional. That is okay though, she is just like our dad. There are only the two of us, and growing up we were best buds. We still are best friends, even though she lives hours away from me.

'Trust' and 'praises' from someone you valued much is indeed a gift worth living everyday.... hnestly, this account belongs to my sister, she's 4 years older than i do, she already have her own family and the baby on the picture is her very own duaghter gwen. i don't hav my own account, i didn't bother to make one, i share with her account because she wish me to write or do something about entering discussions when she is not using it, the main purpose is just to keep in touch with 'mylot' thing. but so far, this 'thing' give me insights that are worcth to enter to... just like this--"am i a little away from the topic?) okay, here we go: my big sister named jane dell, when we were too young back then, she was like the heroen i could wish for, when mom gets mad at my misehavior, she's always the one who catches me, really, literally, catch the pain that supose to be mine... she's the one that cries in front of mom just to stop scolding me, when im at her back, just feeling seured i wont be hurt--i know, i won't. i trust her much she won't let mom hurt me, but she would let herself get hurt for me. but when we grew up, she went to college (too far from our town) and we didn't got the chance to talk that often, it was like im aducting too... i grow up depending everything to someone, if it's not from her, from my mom, papa, brother and my other older sister. the separation makes us strangers one day that i ealized she don't know me that well anymore, she don't trust me that much anymore, she never tell me, but i can read it through her 'kind' words--she's trying to tell me in a good way, but what she is 'barking at the wrong tree', i'm not like 'know it all' that i don't wanna get advices, but you know yourself. This time, i'm living with her (with her husband and baby), we sometimes get into fight for something nonsense, for some tune she does not like or anything like that... for something i don't like that i wish to tell her so confidnetly and end up having misunderstanding. i don't really understand at all about us now, but one thing is or sure... i know we lve each other like sisters do for their sisters.

I dont have a close relationship with my sister. But we are okay. We trust each other. I know i can count on her when i ran into trouble and she can count on me. We are there in every big hurdles that we encounter. We just dont hang out all the time. She's not perfect but she's my only sister. I guess, in the large scheme of thigs, it really matters.

Hi ronnyb, I really enjoyed reading your post as it's so good to hear someone speak such words of praise for another. Siblings don't always get along well and often there is a lot of criticism for each other even among those who have reached middle age. I too have a sister but she is sixteen years my senior, yet we have always been very close and she was usually the one that I called first if I felt a need to talk with someone. She has been ill for the past few months, so although I talk to her almost every day, we don't usually discuss problems anymore. You mentioned that your sister teaches you lessons in such things as humility, compassion and forgiveness, these are wonderful traits for anyone but especially so when found in a young person. I pray that she will remain such a person throughout a long and happy life. Blessings.

some friends said that i'm simple and pure.they say that is not a good thing in a society like this.and i do get cheated many times because of my simpleness and easy trusts on others.now i changed a lot.but i think your sister is lovely.
