when do you start to wear boots

I have recently started to wear my boot, its october the seventh but it has been raining here for the past three weeks so i am not about to wear my flats because they will just end up getting wet, so i have decided that i am now going to wear my boots. When do you decide that its time for you to start wearing boots? do you only where boots in the winter? or in the fall as well?

I have never wore a boot ever in my life. Actually rain is not very frequent here.
and no one wear boots here.
I like wearing it but they are very rarely sold here.

I wear only snow boots when its cold. My shoes take care of the rainy weather out side for some interesting design. Though it works with rainy water it doesn't work with flooding water. So if anything like that happens though yes I do where rain boots long ones in that case.

I guess I wil start to wear boots at November, when the snow falls. I am lucky that the rain in my place is not very heavey and frequent. I don't like rain very much, it make me feel tired and sleepy. Have a good day.
