Can you tell when will the world reconstruct again?

I was having a conversation with my uncle. Since various things happened not only in my country but others as well. If we can remember, the oldest years when the dinosaurs are still alive, they said that the world has only few lands. Then there were a sudden rain and earthquakes when they all died and the land got separated. I am not sure if this was a legend or some geographical theories. Because I don't know much about it really. Then after that, we got continents, countries and all. That was really millions years ago. Do you think it's really possible that the world will reconstruct again? If so, do you think all of us will be gone and another creature or living things will populate earth after us? My uncle said, "I bet there will be another form of human in squares!" I just replied, "What kind of thinking is that?". Haha very funny but me thinking seriously, what if? What will happen and when? Because a lot of people are now talking about the end of the world and everything. Stories about the 2012, or gazillion years after. What do you think? Because I think it might be true. Why? Because I have seen so many little islands are forming another island, some are gone but will be replaced by a new one. That may be a little island, but what if there will be a time when a huge island...or I may say, country will disappear and some countries will reunite? Have you ever think about that?
