Ok, what if your supervisor, or your manager not gonna showing up at work today, would you still behave yourself? Our supervisor told us, we just like a bunch of kids. never have discipline or whatsoever while he was out. That is not true, we still get our jobs done for that day, and we still do the best we can. We just more talkative, and we are might more relaxing. What is most important? Always try to get your work done for that day.

Oh yeah, that is right. The moment of our boss's mood is important, and we have to take extra precaution on it. We must not step over the line. So, we must have our work and job done for that day. Otherwise, we are just bunch of incompetent of employees.

I don't even behave when he is here. me and my co-worker go out for almost 2 hr lunch breaks, i dont have to clock in or out at work maybe thats why i can do whatever i like, but dont get me wrong my work is still being done at the end of the month when is due, and always 100% that is what really matters right?

I guess as long as you can finish your work on time, it won't be matter if you taking 1 or 2 hours lunch break. But, keep it in mind, your boss's superior might check on it. Better follow the policy than sorry.

Right, so better behave yourself whether your boss there or not. Don't fool around and doing nothing all day. Some people just don't understand what is the important of your daily assignment it is. Better focus on your job and earn what you really paid for.

Not really. I'm the second in command in my area. When my boss is out or will not report today, I'm the one who will take care of everything. I don't like it. Its not even in my job description and I'm not paid for that. But deep inside, I'm happy that my boss is not around, as I can practice my Supervisory skills and afterwards, a few complements for a job well-done by the time he reported back.

hello Clorissa, I always behave the same no matter whether my boss is at office or not.
My boss has its own office room, and the accountants has their own office room, the rest of us share the same office room. We all have our own work to do, since our income is related to the result of our work, so everybody would work hard, because the better the result, the more we get. So if the boss no here and we don't work hard, then we are the one who would lose.
For a people like me, I like everything to be done soon, so that I can be off duty earlier.
