Great question!
I predict a Philly - New York series.
However, it would be fun to watch a Yankee-Dodger series. I'm not a fan of either team but they have history. I would also like to see Jim Thome win a World Series. Jim Thome is the nicest guy in all of baseball. I can't help but to root for the guy.

I remember when Jim Thome used to be with the Indians. Wish he would have gotten at least one during that time frame. Times have changed. It's going to be tough to figure it out. I can see Philly going ahead and now it's going to be the Yankees and the Angels in the ALCS. Last time they faced off in the playoffs, the Angles knocked them out. It could even be the Angels and Dodgers, the LA series.

I think Jim Thome was with the Phillies for a bit too. He is a very nice guy (I never met him but he was well known in the Philadelphia area)

Hi vason, well the defending champs, Philadelphia Phillies are off to a great start, beating the Rockies in game 1, very decisively too. So I believe the Phillies are going to do it again, back to back World Series Champs!! (By the way, I'm a huge Phillies fan!) It's in the 8th inninng of the Twins/Yankees game and Yankees leading 7-2 I think. I hope the Twins beat them because I don't like the Yankees. I'm not sure about the Cards and Dodgers game. You didn't mention who you thought would take it all the way.

Hey lina! Thanks for your response. I think you are right, the Phillies are definitely on the right track. I am a Pirates fan not because they are good or anything but only because they are my hometown team and i just love their history.....lol. If I Had to lean away from my Favorite team I would go With the Phillies. I cant help it they just look too strong. Since the Pirates have no chace of winning......GO PHILLIES!!!!!

The Pirates? Wow, I think that's great, actually because my brother-in-law is a Phillies fan but his hometown is Pittsburgh. At least you guys have the Penguins and the Steelers (if you watch Hockey, and football which I do) Flyers, Eagles for me. I'm basically all Philadelphia teams. Another afternoon game for the Phillies today but I will not be able to watch it, hopefully I can get updates. Thanks for rooting for the Phillies. Any idea who you think they will play against in the World Series?

It's going to really hard now. It is just about down to the final four. The Angels finally figured out how to knock the Red Sox. Now, they have to knock the Yankees out as well. I hope they do honestly. Can't stand them. It'll probably be the rematch between the Phillies and Dodgers. Not sure who takes it for sure.
