I don't know if it's the show or if it's Shannen Doherty's occasional appearances or I just don't really get Brooke Burns' acting -- or at least her face. What's her deal? Is she supposed to wear the now-already-her-trademark quasi-paralyzed blank face/look in every episode? Acting à la Snow Queen in her role as the very person chiefly in charge of hotel guests is only taking her farther away completely from her character. Nicole Booth merely appears to look so cold and distant every week. She couldn't seem to have any other facial expression apart from deadpan. Otherwise known as "the dead look". On that note, I wonder what keeps her alive on the set every week. Maybe she's born with it. Maybe it's Maybelline -- or Botox! Either way, it doesn't make for a seamless acting mien.
