Hi, jenely
It's clear that you like cooking so much and very passionate about it. As for me, there are times when I feel inspired and would like to cook but most of the time, I am too lazy. It's also nice that you experiment with flavors, not just copy recipes.
Cheers!

Yes, I think you are a good cook.
I also like cooking, sometimes, I will search for the recipe online before cooking, then change the recipe, such as trying different seasoning, main raw materials, and so on, but usually I just cook as my thoughts, in my own way. So I always tell my friend my flavor is unique. Haha... I like trials by myself.
When we often cook, we know how to cook naturally, even recipes are quite different, but everything is natural. And we also have our own thoughts on how to cook well. And some knowledge are common all over the world, no matter which style we cooked, such as how to make meat taste tender and juicy. Though people in differnet regions have different recipe, but for people who often cook, they will learn the applicable to all. It's quite interesting!

I am the world's worst cook. To be a cook is not the point. Are you a healthy cook??? Most cooks just load you up with different versions of fat, sugar, and salt. Can I stay trim, happy, and healthy, loving what you can cook???? Will I live to be 100 eating it???

I share the same thought with you. I was always interested in cooking but never did anything till I moved out of house to a farther place. It was disaster initally but slowly I started learning the trick from my own mistakes and I do not fully rely on recipes from net or from books. It is fun to give my contributions and I feel happy when it turns out well.
