Not always, I'm a living proof that long distance love does work lol. It may not work for some people though, as it is not easy at all. You have to really trust each other and be super faithful to your commitment. We finally are together, after more than 1 year of marriage and we're as happy as it can be.

Not necessary that all long distance love must fail. In fact distance creates more love and longing to see each other... only thing for love to success, no matter what the distance is honesty and compromise.

i think you might be right.two different people meet each other and fall in love.that happens to everyone.but many love fails.it's very important for lovers to learn to compromise.your compromises can gain the compromises of your lover.then your relationship will go on the right track.

Long distance relationship can still survive if you find time for your partner to be with even if once a month or your communication is always there or you have a constant communication. You can leave with it if you really want to work your relationship.

Yes, there are lots of distance lovers broke up, which is very common around the world.
But why did the relationship broke up at last? The reason must be that there are lack of communication and understanding. In fact, there is a well-known saying that distance brings about beauty. If they try to understand each other, they may fall in love with each other.
All in all, distance makes heart grow fonder.
