I don't usually read newspaper, i only read discussions here in mylot that interest cause i want to get some knowledge. and some websites also about particular topic that i am interested to learn about something. and for news i do read online. I don't read any novel at all. Cause i find it very boring. I do read magazines sometimes but mostly i just browse the pictures and just read a few lines on the page. I know some people like to read books or novel every day. I just wonder for how long do they do that each day. and what particular time of day do they read. I know that reading can be a very good hobby. I tried to make myself like reading books but it seems that i just can't appreciate books no matter how hard i try to read. i just get bored and sleepy after few minutes reading.

I've loved reading since I was a kid. I spent a lot of tough years living inside books...and loving it. I don't usually read newspapers unless there's something special I want to read, sometimes I'll read magazines if their really interesting but mostly I read books. Sometimes thick novels and sometimes short stories. I love that every book is like stepping into another life. I usually have 2-3 books I'm reading at a time. There are days that I actually have to limit my reading time b/c otherwise I'd read all day long. You sound like my niece, she doesn't like to read and has to struggle to get through a single page...even then she doesn't get interested in the book. A short time later, she won't remember half of what she read. I can remember books I read 20-30 years ago. !!Happy Turkey Day!! ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I love reading. I believe that reading will not just enrich your vocabulary but also broaden your knowledge horizon. I love to read novels, newspapers, forum/discussions, etc. I just don't like to read magazines and comics that usually have more pictures than text but I know others prefer that kind. I love stories, commentaries and articles as it entertain me a lot. It is just a hobby of mine and sometimes I can finish one novel in one sitting if the story is good. I usually read in the evening before I go to sleep try to finsh 2-3 chapters a day.

I got used to it guess or it is my second nature :) Since young, I love to read textbooks of my siblings who are older than me. I just found it fascinating to know so many things as most of the materials I've read are informative. If you try to read one page at a time, when you get used to it, you will be able to develop a hobby of reading. I will definitely help you in more ways than one.

yeah i think it is better to read one page at a time and just enjoy reading it slow and not in a hurry to better appreciate it.

When I get into a book I often read it pretty fast. I don't read books very often, it goes in periods. Sometimes I read alot of books and sometimes it can go alot of time between reading books. I often read books friends recommend because the most of them have good taste.

yeah, i do read fast too before and not able to understand the book real well. i do only read books slowly when i enjoy it or when i think it is very important to get all the facts in the book.

i rarely read newspapers if i ever buy one at all. novels -- i do read lot of it. depends on what you're interested in, novels can be entertaining. of course, there are novels that are so boring you want to throw it away and read the next one. so to minimize those situations, i read reviews first before engrossing myself with reading it. :D

I used to fill my pastime reading what ever I can get hold of. This has changed ever since I am active in the net. Reading has fade from my passion as surfing has taken most of my free time. I get bored fast and only manage to read on the first page of a book before my eyes feel strained and sleepy. I just go for light reading now like reading the morning papers.

i do read books that i find it interesting. I love novels and magazines but i'm not really into newspapers. For now, i love reading books about money, how and where to invest it or how to manage it properly. It gives me the knowledge about a certain topic or a thing. though i can search it on the net, but sometimes when i'm in a bookstore, i am tempted to buy the books i love.

When I was in college, I read a lot. But it lessened now that I’m busy with work. I sometimes read the morning paper. I still have my old ebooks stored in my laptop. It’s been long since I downloaded it. When I read, it’s gonna be serious reading. Sometimes I can finish reading a fiction for a day or two.

Well, i'm kinda an avid reader, so i enjoy reading very much. it's really a pity you can't appreciate reading, for they really do open up a whole new world for you and take you temporarily away from the harsh realities of the world. maybe the next time you can try reading something that appeals to you greatly. like a particular genre or subject you love. try for a few days, maybe you'll find that you've grown fond of it. :)

Good day hotsummer Yeah me too I am not fun of reading books I just love to see graphics as well as pictures I am not really fund of reading. Books are very boring although some individuals claimed that books are really essential for us in order to learn but for me books are not just basis for learning experience is the best lesson that we can learned aside from books.
