I've heard/read that the lunar cycle involving New Moon and Full Moon influences the human behaviour and make them behave wierd. Is it true? Do you believe so? Have you come accross such an instance? I would like to have some first hand experiences?

The main thing I've noticed during a full moon is the people that are out in the public (not an institution or anything) are the ones who act up the most. Sitting at home on a full moon night my police scanner is constantly going off because people are doing crazy things. On the other side of the coin, after working in a mental institution I have first hand seen that people with mental disorders are much calmer at that state. Made for some quiet work nights.
They say it has something to do with the moon, the tides, and the water in the human body, but I haven't had much of a chance to read up and determine my own thoughts on that matter.

I've read the same about lunar cycles affecting tides and presumably since the human body is mostly water.... and I've noticed the same thing as you.. People are often off doing silly things during the full moon, and people who have mental disturbances are calmer lol Me personally? I find myself more paranoid during the full moon phase and never really have understood why.
