Do you CosPlay?

I have cosplayed at the local anime convention that comes once a year. It is a lot of fun. I went as Kigome from Inuyasha last year and my boyfriend went as Inuyasha and we had a lot of fun.

I would really like to try it someday. I use to have an idea of who to CosPlay as but, something just happened and I had to get a haircut so the character in mind wasn't possible anymore. A character that I can really pull-off without really trying too hard. Most CosPlayers would be taking opportunities at events or conventions that are closely related to what they do. Its so nice to take pictures too (^_^ )

I haven't done it before. Would love to try it one day. Cheers

Not anymore, I just like to blend in with the walls as much as possible. But I do attend the sorts of conventions where there are lots of cosplayers. I love seeing all the creativity and talking to people about how they came up with their ideas and made their costumes. I also have several friends who do cosplay and I love helping them pick and choose and create. So much fun. Happy myLotting!

yes on Halloween. I dress up as pokemon. Each year i dressed up as a different pokemon. I only have like 5 pokemon costumes. Some people cosplay for money and some just for fun. I always wanted to go to those cosplay cafe that some anime characters go to. I think it might be very interesting just to go there for a visit. But no that i think about the people who works there. It really make me wonder if their enjoying it or not and if there are really people who like to express their addiction by cosplaying.

I don't though given the opportunity I would. It would certainly be fun to try out something new and I'm sure it would make me feel silly and young again, dressing up . If I would try a hand at it, I'd go for Sakura or Sailormoon

To be a cosplayer is one of my dreams. When I go to a convention center to watch a tournament for my online games i always get along side with the cosplayers and get some photos of them for remembrance. They give alot of effort to copy the character and i love every piece of them. From the ugliest to the finest and to the most sexiest cosplayers, i love them all. I only think one idea why cosplayers are created is to make fun.

Hmm, it reminds me of something which I did in my childhood. Although I always enjoy watching movies and cartoons, I am never keen putting some costumes on to pretend to be some fictional characters. However, once, some friends of mine, out of suitable candidates because of fussy standard of body shape, asked me to dress like one of cartoon characters. Out of friendship I agreed. I turned up on the day (although I meant to go there to meet friends anyway), picked up the dress they prepared for me, put make-ups, tried to dye my hair and did all the poses people wanted. I don't know whether my friends were satisfied but I felt a lot of hell EXHAUSTED! I really wonder why my friends can devote so much time and effort to do cosply? Isn't sitting there watching series and movies good enough? So if you ask me what character I want to cosply, I would rather be AUDIENCE in front of my tv.

I have always wanted to cosplay. My friend and I, before he had a pregnant girlfriend to worry about, wanted to get costumes and go to a cosplay convention. I'm not sure who I want to be, but I want to lose some weight before I decide. I don't think my friend will be able to anymore, since his girlfriend already has one child from another father, and is now expecting my friend's child. But my boyfriend wants to go, so perhaps I still will be able to yet. =]
