Birthday tea

One of my sons is 12 today and he was able to choose what we cooked for tea. He chose sauages, chips beans and spagetti (one of our children doesn't like beans so we always have both). And of course homemade birthday cake. What do your children have for tea if they are allowed to choose the meal, regardless if it is there birthday or not.

Hi there Anne18 Well I give my boys the choice of what they want when they have a friend over for dinner. My eldest would choose baked potato with tuna, baked beans and cheddar. Middle sone would choose sausages, chips and peas or tuna bake and the youngest would have pizza and chips.

This year he chose french fies, white chicken pie and baked beans. White chicken pie as chicken and white sauce so I take it a broen chicken pie is chicken in gravey

2012 it was mac cheese and ham on the side and birthday cake, a chocoloate one
