are jokes half meant?

do you believe in this saying that jokes are half-meant?.. i do. I don't know but some jokes that come into our mouths are like half of them are true, like we are saying something serious but in a funny way.

ye maybe lol,sometimes jokes are true and teasing to someone you likes mean others take it seriously others are just fine.some were taken seriously that other mad them mad of.but if joke really funny i just laughing out loud lol.
