It is better when a place is too hot or too cold?

I my office sometimes is too hot and other times it is too cold - it is never in between
Now I prefer when the office is too cold because at least I can put my layers on the make myself warm and adjust my layers as required.
However when it is too hot I feel so careless because there is nothing I cab do about it.
What do you think? It is better when t is too ghot or too cold?

I typically prefer places to be too hot rather than too cold. I know everyone says oh well if your too cold at least you can put more clothes on. Well if I'm hot, I'd dress cool and much rather sweat than be cold. At least with sweating you could sit in front of a fan and cool down. When it's super cold, I always have a hard time getting warm again.

Yes it is hard to warm up when super cold but I start to feel suffocated when I am too hot. I have an easier time getting warm than cooling down. When it is super hot I do not want to go any where or do anything but sit infront of a fan.
It is interesting how both sides of the extreme can make you feel unwell or very comfortable.

I guess it is because the human body need to needs to be regulated at a certain temperature and going too far above or too far below affects the body's functions.

Like you I would rather it be too cold than too hot. I don't mind having to put on a sweater to warm myself up and I'd rather not be sweating all day in a room that's overly hot. Also, when it's too hot I find it much more difficult to get anything done. When I'm a bit cold I find that I'm a lot more productive, prbably becuase the moving and working warms me up.

Yes I just said that above - when I am too hot I find it difficult to concentrate and it sometimes makes me feel tried, sleepy and drained.
