Hello smartbrain. I have not donated used clothes to any organizations because I have no idea where I can donate them, but I give my used clothes to my brother-in-law, who is not picky. It is good that my clothes have somewhere to go. Sometimes I give my used clothes to some other people who would like to accept them and would like to wear them. Of course, my clothes given to other people are still very good. I don't wear them because I want to get some new clothes that fit me for a change. Take care, friend.

Yes. Especially this time that we have a lot of "kababayan" affected by calamities we encountered a few days ago. Almost all of their things and belongings washed out by floods. They are now stocked in the evacuation area. They need clothing, foods and medicines. To all those who would like to donate their used clothes as well as their used things, there are volunteers gathering those clothes and everything. Now is the time to show our love to each and everyone, as God said, "love one Another as I have loved you". Let us share our blessings.

Personally I love to donate used clothes to people because especially in this day and age when money is so tight it is sometimes hardest to even make ends meet let alone add on clothes expense. First I will usually check around with some of my friends and see if they wear or are interested in what I am giving away, and then I will either sell stuff from time to time at a Yard Sale or give away to someone via FREE CYCLE. And then only then will I give something to a Thrift Store, as I feel others could use the stuff I am offering most themselves first.

I clean out our closets once a year and we donate the clothing that we are no longer using to a local thrift store that uses the profits to help a local homeless shelter. As long as the clothing is still in good condition I think that it's a great way to do something for people that are in need. It's such a small thing really. And it's better than putting in the trash and adding more stuff to our already full dumps.

I dont do it by myself, but my mother has donate our used clothes. I dont really have a problem with that since its old but i would not use them anymore. Although she gave away my ZidaneĀ“s Real Madrid shirt that my brother bought for me when he went to europe(well it had more than 5 years but still i like it).

There are places around here that are set up both by the local churches, and by the local charities that take gently used clothes (clothes that have been used but are still in good condition) and I gladly donate things that I don't wear to those charities, unless I have friends or family who can use them, in which case I give them to those family members.
