SIMPSONS are no more funny!

I wouldn't say that Simpsons aren't funny anymore. I agree, the quality of humor may be worse, than it was before, but there are still funny moments. Also, more parodies are used in the episodes now. I think that it isn't so bad.

The Simpsons still pulls off funny episodes, and the movie kicked butt. It still has humor and the whole concept works to this die for me.

I have expectations when I watch new episodes and then they don't turn out as funny. If I let some time pass and watch those epsiodes again they seem funny to me. Sometimes I don't watch any episodes except the Treehouse of Horror ones.

I would agree with you as the seasons went on the Simpsons became less funny. The last few seasons have not been that good, it has become just like a soap opera without the fun that the early seasons had. After such a long run and success it must be hard for the writers to come up with some good jokes an stories. But then it is a show that I will still watch and hold dear to my heart as how can you not just love Homer.
