Why are Men afraid to Accept their Mistakes?

What made men hold their emotions from being expressive and accept their mistakes? Is it not so relieving if one can release their burdens and try to make-up for the shortcomings that we have committed? Most men, think that their being a man means, strong, dependable, respectable and whatever traits they want to project. They do not want to be tagged as "weaklings". But, in my point of view, accepting one's mistakes is the willingness to move-on and correct what you have done wrong. It is a sign of growing-up. It feels so good to be freed from all my wrongdoings and in the same manner, it is nice to see people of whom you offended have forgiven you and maybe taught you how to stand again. Yes, it is true that sometimes it is dangerous and painful to tell and know the truth especially when it compromises you love ones. But, I think there is still a need for everyone to be honest to others.

It's all about our pride. We don't want that people think we're weak or stupid we prefer to not acept our own mistakes even if they're bad and need to be repaired. I try to not act like this but sometimes i'm blind by my pride that i can't see how i'm acting

Hi, Star. Maybe it's better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you're not. Sometimes pride can be disastrous; but sometimes it gives you the satisfaction of maintaining the status quo of your life. But then, I still believed that being honest with yourself would always set you free. I don't think people would looked at you as stupid or weak. They will always respect you, because you're worthy of their trust and they will look up to you as a man of integrity. Thank you for sharing your feelings and ideas. God bless.

That's very pissed off for most men! They don't want to express their emotion toward their girls because of their own excuse of their own nature. Once they made a mistake ..they don't even hesitate feel sorry because they don't do that.. They are very insensitive towards the girls feelings.

i did not afraid to accept my mistakes. when i wronged side i accepted and do not repent on my mistake because after mistake every thing over repent and afraid is do not meter in this case. reward of your mistake come soon you just wait of your mistake reply not afraid and repent just await and ready to defend.

Men are different from women... Biblically speaking, Woman (EVE) was the reason why a Man (Adam) committed SIN! So, Men in nature are strong. Men don't want to accept mistakes because they thought they are on the right tract... They usually think that all things are possible especially on this crooked generation where they can do what they ought to do not to mind the outcomes of their doings... If there are men who are not afraid to accept their mistakes, their just realizing their own mistakes... Therefore, Men are afraid to ACCEPT their Mistakes BUT, they are NOT afraid to REALIZE their mistakes...

This is something I've wondered forever! Men are NEVER wrong! Even when proven wrong! It's ridiculous.
